Just managed to cancel.
I asked about the NRD due to the poor production piece and she said she would see what she could do.
Apparently there have been no issues raised or complaints as far as she was aware?
Rather lose the NRD than have a £250, after Fed-Ex fees, statue that sucks.

with all those cancellations and with such a high edition size the regular of this will be in stock for a very long time

anyway i only ordered the elder predator from this line but hopefully that piece will get a better paint job otherwise i'll cancel it

so glad i didnt order the wolf LSF.... I think I am done collecting. they really ruined it for us anymore. Higher prices/higer editions/LOWER quality. what a shame. . . . The only staue I will get from now on would be a michael myers and TMNT 1/4.... IM DONE with these A**holes!!! Everybody should boycott them until things change.. Im serious

Of course the larger scale pieces are going to have better paint apps, that goes without saying. That said, this still looks like ***. If HT can get a solid paint app in 1/6, then there is no excuse for SS to at least meet that same level of quality on a 1/5 piece.

I can understand some are upset by the "lack in quality" from SS concerning THIS statue, but I can't imagine what you all are expecting for $299. If you think you are going to get Cinemaquette quality paint ups, that is delusional.

I'm not saying to just take any old thing SS or any other company does, but you have to PUT THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE. This is a $299 statue. Not an $800 Maquette or better yet a $2000 Predator. If you guys are going to compare statue paint ups, then you need to do it with something that is in the same ballpark price wise.

Are there any other Predator statues (not Toys...strictly statues) that you all can compare this too? These kits I hear about (the one who did Bad Blood Predator for example) I guess you can throw in the mix, but even then, those are mighty expensive from what I hear.

So what I am saying is that, at $299, show me some other examples of Predator statues that have the quality of paint ups you all are in an uproar about. Or put up some links so I can see for myself

When you're guaranteed this --> "each piece is individually painted and finished, with its own unique quality and detail that is the trademark of a handcrafted Sideshow Collectibles product" but you what you actually get is anything less you have a right to complain. Doesn't matter what the price point is. $299 is still a lot of money where I come from. I expect it to buy me a quality statue if that's what I'm looking for and that's what this is advertised to be even at $299. If I didn't care about paint apps etc I'd settle for $20 8" NECA or $80 1/4 NECA and be done with it but I wanted to stretch my dollar a bit more and get a piece that is advertised to be better than what I ended up with.

I completely agree, quality to price does play a huge factor. Now some might not think that the quality to price is worth it but, i am going to wait to see it in hand. Everyone expects these close up shots with flash on to look amazing i don't understand it at all. Then everyone just jumps on the hate train.

Man. I was really excited about this piece but not really excited when seeing the in hand pics. I dont hate it but when I look at it, I would rather have $300 than that statue.

So I canceled and got the NRD put towards my Batman PF Exclusive

Hope others that show up in hand work out ok for those still sticking it out

yehh i cancelled just because i didnt liked pose & i m more concern abt scale ... i prefer 1/4 or 1/3 for Predator........ I agreed with loricstone coz he has proper point we r looking at 299$ statue not 1000$+ Maquette..... & u cant compare with HT

Sorry but $300 is a lot in my world especially once converted to £ and V.A.T added.
At the end of the day it's a horrible statue and I wouldn't spend £50 on it.(£50 would just about cover my Fed-Ex bill).

no i m not on hate train ..... i know pics dont do justice to these statues u have to see it in person ....... i have cancelled it coz i have Wolf LSF on order n i prefer 1/4 scale also i didnt liked pose
