Think that Chalor was having a little jab at your liberal use of quotation marks Jedibear. I found your post very informative & helpful with a great pic, just what I'm looking for when browsing these forums & seeking advice on potential purchases. :clap

I had to do that to my HT Chewbacca. So hard to do.

the pain was real doing it and every hit I was wondering if they would actually exchange it :lol but as a few people have said to me their customer service is good just bizarre having to obliterate the figure ... sort of like they took a hit out on 4-lom and wouldn't pay me until they see the proof of his demise :lol

my choice of weapon to take 4-lom out with

used a hacksaw on his head and cut his fingers off with plyers/wire cutter things :devil

I've promised my wife that she will get to destroy the figure in case I ever need to do that. :lol

Sideshow have never asked me to destroy a figure *before* I received the replacement and if they ever asked I'd refuse. I once received an item with a small crack from Gentle Giant (their AT-RT maquette). They asked me to destroy it and send proof before they would send a replacement. I left it a couple of days and emailed back to confirm if really needed to do that prior to getting the replacement. After all if they don't get the proof they can just bill me for it as is/was Sideshows policy. The reply I got was that they were out of stock and could not provide a replacement. If I had followed their instructions I wouldn't have had one at all and secondary prices were already sky high. Needless to say I negotiated a discount, and kept the damaged item. The damage was minor and not noticeable on the display shelf.

Well, I suppose I shouldn't post after a double shift at work anymore. ...now that I know the punctuation police are on patrol. Can the the word - count warden be far behind? I did get carried away with those quote marks there...

I appreciate the kind words, Rudimus.....

Another angle of 4-LOM. ..

Chalor, how much did you sell your Yoda for on ebay?
It sold for $176. I never thought about it before, but I should let ppl on here know about things first. Like right now I've been trying to sell off my parted out Sideshow deluxe Vader. The only things that have sold is the body/suit & the unmasked head.

Love the figure. Sideshow is sending me out a replacement gun, and indicated I need to destroy the old gun, send pics, and wait for approval first. Guess to make sure it's actually destroyed. Fine by me...........

Shipped in the States? Dammit, I would have bought it.
Yeah, I'm an a hole! Totally abandoned my fellow collectors for the almighty greed that is Ebay. But yeah like I was saying, for future reference I'm gunna bring my a s s on here first.
