I don't have any bounty hunters aside from Fett which is HT ROTJ. So waiting on their ESB version and eventually want to collect the rest of the bounty hunters but this guy is the last on my list.

He was my least priority as well and thought he'd be collecting dust. Was waiting for him to be clearanced out at some point. Kinda weird what sells out and what doesn't sometimes

Holy hell, my old boss had a case just like that in his office -- he had old tin soldiers in it. That case stuck with me and half the reason I started my early collection was to get a case like that for my office.

Where'd you get that case????

It's a monster of a case.

I bought it second hand here in Dublin, Ireland. Cost me about $200 about 2 years ago.

It's made by an Australian company called Continental Furniture and it's the metro 72 model.

It came with two led spot lights in the base so I added 10 Ikea cool white dioder strip lights to it myself.

My wife still hates it though...

It was €200 so that's about $200 give or take.

The guy wanted €400 including delivery.

I offered €200 and collected it myself and he was happy with that.

Other than the size difference, what are the pros and cons between the Medicom one, and the Sideshow one? I can get the Sideshow one from a friend who changed his mind for $176 shipped (he used a $50 coupon on it), but can get the Medicom one for cheaper. Is it worth paying $80 more to get the Sideshow one over Medicom?

If you want it to be in scale with the rest of the SS Bounty Hunters than yes. Medicom is 1:7 scale.

I had the Medicom as well. It had a nice Sculpt and paint but unfortunately it was too small.

Got this guy in and not more than 2 minutes out of the box and one of his little forearm bits snapped

Luckily, it popped right on the ends so it's impossible to see. This thing feels like a shampoo bottle with brittle bits glued on, and cost a good 100 more than it should


Edit: Does anyone know a paint match for the body? Mine has a bunch of minor defects(not weathering) thanks to SS awesome QC

I'd call customer service and see about a replacement. Not sure on their stock since he is sold out but they might have replacements or should for instances like this.
They've always replaced my paint defective figures or replaced broken parts.

I hate doing that since it's kinda minor, but it's also annoying at the same time considering how expensive

If it's gonna annoy you then I would especially considering the money we all spend on these chunks of plastic. That's just me but then again everyone's flaw threshold differs.

Mine arrived yesterday.

The mouth pins were a little bent but the head rotates fine on mine.

Glad to have my Bounty Hunter line complete.

Okay, my impressions:

I think he looks great. Obivously a barebones figure but happy with my purchase. All Pistons are whole, I like the paint job. Not found a pose I like yet but Looks good with Boba and Bossk.
