From what I read they got a Disney styled license. For Disney they can only make 1:4 scale Premium Formats. So they use mixed media in places like lights and metals and not just cloth. DC's are supposedly the same way where they will be 1:4 scale but not all including cloth. I wouldn't be shocked if for the New 52 for Superman for example they go the Ultron route with mostly polystone and a fabric cape.

so Mikey, does it mean an armored suit Lex Luthor piece can be considered as 1:4 scale Premium Format? If this is true, it will be incredible! I want a light-up Lex Luthor armored PF!

Thats the Premise for the Green Lantern.

It will be comic based, and completely sculpted. But it will be light up, so they consider it a PF

I am, because it's the only conceivable way that I could get every character that I want. But, I still want to have every one of those characters in 1:4 scale. I need a plan.

If their 1:6 line follows the new stuff, I'm out.

I'd love to collect Gotham in 1:4 scale, and the rest in 1:6, but that would change everything.

Anyone know anything new about this? ever since Arkham City came out I would love a 1:6 comic Batman and Catwoman.

Given that they showed off and ordered their first PF and will do their first 1:1 bust by the end of the month I would say that the first 1:6 announcement is probably really close and if the record continues to spin probably Batman related.

I wouldn't count on something Arkham City being first thing out though. I have a feeling that they'll do those separate from the comic originated releases especially considering that they are planning to go severely in-depth with the character offerings.

Man a classic comic Batman would be perfect right now. If it looks good (no doubt) I can pose it with the Reeve Superman and finally have the comic World's Finest I have always wanted.
