DC Direct has produced some amazing art, including their action figures. I was looking at my First Appearance Cassandra Cain Batgirl the other day and I was blown away by her face. I like my Batman figures too. Justice Armor in particular. One of the best 7" figures I've seen.

They aren't very posable, but they look great.

Their Hush, Batman Rogues and The Long Halloween lines are really really amazing as well. Best figures in that scale i've owned

Love that Paquet Swamp Thing statue by DC Direct. I scored one for $128 on eBay a few weeks back after looking for a good price for a long time. It's an amazingly detailed and well-produced piece.

Not everything DCD has made is junk, and not everything SS has made is gold. Stop talking like a 10 year old.

DCD has made some pretty nice pieces over the years:

I buy what I like regardless the manufacturer name stamped on the box.

:goodpost:Def. can include all the AH! hunnies... and really really want the Bats Vs. Killer Croc

The Paquet Joker is a sight to behold. That statue still holds up after all these years. His face is just amazingly detailed. What a great sculpt.

DCD Hush series got me started collecting DCD, and my first statue is the Jim Lee Hush Batman 12" statue. DCD made awesome pieces too.

Looks like Flash and poison ivy are next

Flash and Poison Ivy are the next what? What info are you going off of?

DCD's major problem was pricing, right off of the bat you knew it was 30% overpriced since online retailers charged that right off of the bat whereas comic shops thought we were all maroons and would actually pay MSRP and that if you played your cards right you'd find them for up to 60% really soon after release.

As for SSC, I've read a few rumors on a couple of other threads from people who claim to know from a sister's cousin's boyfriend's uncle's best friend that Sideshow will focus on the classic designs in PF but in the New 52 for their 1:6 figures.

Mikey, how about busts? Will we see 1:2 legendary scale busts? I want them! I hope SSC will make VS diorama too!

I would have included the Superman Vs. Darkseid piece in this pic. That statue is phenomenal.

I've read the no on the dios. I also read that they are beginning with 1:1s and 1:4 scale pieces not necessarily all PFs. Nothing I've read talks about LSBs but who knows.

I don't know about 1:2 bust, I do know that the concept art for busts behind the Joker case at SDCC were all 1:1.

Yup, I heard that SSC wants the Justice League in 1:1 from someone who claims to have talked to someone at SDCC. The lack of a video showcasing the license completely like we've had in the past is troubling. It's all speculation at this point.

I would have included the Superman vs. Wonder Woman (There best vs IMHO) and their original Jim Lee Batman piece which the Superman compliments.

So 1:4 scales can be Comiquettes as well as Pfs? That will be great! I know we will get a Green Lantern that is fully sculpted! That will be Comiquette/PF hybrid at 1:4 scale?

From what I read they got a Disney styled license. For Disney they can only make 1:4 scale Premium Formats. So they use mixed media in places like lights and metals and not just cloth. DC's are supposedly the same way where they will be 1:4 scale but not all including cloth. I wouldn't be shocked if for the New 52 for Superman for example they go the Ultron route with mostly polystone and a fabric cape.
