Never trust SSC specs, that's newb status all way. I had to put one scale nazi down in the Marvel threads a few months ago :banghead

Agreed with Sexy, this also would be 1:2 status if it were 22" tall...

WORD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep and you pretty had to know it wasn't 1:2 scale at that price!!!!!!!

Indy was $300 for 21" and clothing.

I figured for all sculpt it would be simpler and justify the same price at an inch taller.

I knew Sideshow lied about edition sizes, now I know not to trust them on anything.

I'm confused. Did the site say it was originally 22" and now it's 14.5"?

I'm also confused as to all the drama that just unfolded a page ago. This hardly seems like something to get that worked up over.

I didn't order this piece, because it's not worth the $250 asking price IMO.

Yea, 22 when it went up and I ordered, 15 now, I'm not worked up over losing the piece, rather over being lied to by Sideshow and then told it was my fault for not assuming they would lie.

Kinda a retarded way to defend a company but hey, I'll leave it at that.

Oh come on dude, it is not like I dragged you through the mud and sewed an "A" on your chest, calm down.

Ya seem to come around here enough I figured ya knew how the system works. Deal with it.

Stop acting like I personally attacked you.

I guess it isn't common knowledge either that SSC website is wrong more often than not.

For one I don't think they lied.... that's a absurd comment.

It was just a basic typo and it's happened quit a bit in the past.

Haha yea, most notably the weight of Mola Ram PF. Which was pretty funny but I still ordered it and didn't get my panties in a bunch. They corrected it eventually.

Where am I crying or yelling in caps or anything? I'm pretty calm, here smoking a cig and watching TV. I'm not jumping around like a monkey in front of the keyboard. :lol

I don't get why I must be all worked up because I don't agree with you, I just don't believe your arguement is any better then mine, these "mistakes" and "typos" are happening way too much lately.

I knew they had a history of changing Edition sizes, but not actual sizes, so yea when I came in this thread and saw it was smaller it caught me off guard.

Again, my main beef here, is that if your a company that is going to have thigns like PPOs and such, where people take time away from other things to get something right away, you need to get your specs right from the get go.

If it keeps happening all the more reason to deal with and adress it. Like my QC thread which so many people freaked out about, it got an answer and got things done. Same with that doll dot thread. I think your the ones who get your panties in a bunch anytime someone isn't blindly praising Sideshow.

I could also see you being more upset if they took money from you immediately right then and there...

No transaction, no piece... no harm no foul.

Trust me, I have my problems with Sideshow and I most certainly do not blindly praise SSC. Please see the Iron Man Mark VI thread. :)

Which is fine but then if they change it for the better, ala KOTCS PF, are you gonna get upset and cancel?

If they made colors on pants more accurate, that is differant then changing an expression or something, and if anything I'd probably be more likely to order something I didn't already have if their improving screen accuracy. But thats not what were talking about here, these keep happening to the specs, like the Talon ES etc and actual size not improvements. When hot toys says "product not final", i expect changes, but not to recieve a 6" figure.

some people are in the wrong hobby :monkey3

Yep, I'll probably kill myself over this. :lol

It is the same thing to me. You said they should have everything upfront and done when it comes time to preordering. I think sculpt, paint and color of pants fall in with edition size and specs. Take all or none in my eyes.

I posted this after you qouted me, I guess that makes me like Sideshow. :lol

How does that make you feel? j/k but here:

As usual overreacting and namecalling, it figures, poor angry guy. Time to let it go. :D

Not to trust specs from a website when that's all you're going for when buying a piece you have not seen is dumb. Where else do you look then?

Now expecting the height to be wrong from their specifications just because it happens routinely is silly. The specs are there for a reason.

They corrected this one early b4 anything was forked out, that's all that matters. Mistakes happen.

It was nice of Tim to drop in to add that it was 1/5 scale too. A great looking piece, love the face.
