Now ya know ya'll would WANT me to sculpt her half scale.:monkey3
I was wondering Tim, are you able to confirm if the Adam Hughes Lara PF is gonna get made and if your going to sculpt it? I seem to recall hearing somewhere that it was going to get made but I'm not too sure now.

I can neither confirm nor deny this. Nothing is what I can confirm. Actually, I'm not even here. You didn't see anything.

sooooo you're saying there's a chance..:naughty
i actually would perfer another com before buying another PF.

I'll take that over a definite "no". :rock :lol
:lol:lol:lol

and Havok you know better than to ask a sculptor about future pieces, the sign a clause!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :duh
:lol

Well it doesn't hurt to ask anyway. :D My fingers will remain crossed that the PF happens and Tim does sculpt it.

14.5" is still taller than a Hot Toys Predator, I'm looking at mine right now and that's a pretty good size for a statue of a chick that's sitting down.

Wait wtf, 15? Canceled. What the ____ Sideshow. Too many bs "mistakes" on the site lately, get your act togeather.

Again, why did people assume before it was even posted it was going to be some sort of GIANT statue? It is a comiquette and AH! AND she is sitting down.

What are you talking about, it said on the site under official specs it was 22".

Same bull____ sideshow did with the Darth Talon ES.

But yea.. I should have know even tho the company making it said it was 22", it was only 15"... you know... cuz its AH!. Its my fault...

Unfortunately I think it is because WAY before they announced any of that I think 75% of the people would have told you it is most likely 1/5th scale. When they should the preview way back and said it was an AH! comiquette...come on dude pretty obvious it was going to be 1/5th scale. Especially if they might do a PF which would probably be 1/4th scale.

Should know by now not to trust their specs anyway.

So other random strangers are more trustworthy then the company your defending? Yea great arguement, they don't know what the ____ their talking about so it must be my fault.

The only differance I know of, not collecting comiquettes, were that the PFs had clothing/mixed media. Not size. My Indy PF is about 21" with the base, 22" is not an unrealistic expectation, especialy when the people making it are telling you thats what it is.

Everyone knows certain things sell out in a specific window, and its BS that they "accidentally" misrepresent themselves in that time.

Except for a couple statues it seems pretty standard to me, PF are 1/4th and comiquettes are about 1/5th...with some varying slightly. I thought this was common knowledge.

Common knowlege is how to open a door or not to piss your pants in public.

Random people don't know what scales PFs vs comiquettes are. :lol

I've never bought a comiquette, only quickly seen pics of them with PFs in Marvel collections and they looked pretty much the same. Even you said they vary.

CIM is 1/4th scale but that is because they said they fully intended for it to be 1/4th scale ahead of time so it would go with the rest of the avengers.

Or the fact that the guy who sculpted it...on here specifically said it was 1/5th scale.

Hey it sucks they misrepresented it but no need to get your panties in a bunch it is not like you actually paid for it knowing it wasn't 1/4th scale.

And please...I am talking about common knowledge around here...since you know...this is a SSC forum.

Doesn't matter, its about them misrepresting themselves.

Again alot of orders occur immediately after the piece goes up and most times I don't recheck them, If I had gotten it, I would have been upset to see the size, and sure I could return it, but I work overtime somtimes to get the cash togeather to make it on time for certain pieces and it would have been a big let down after looking forward to it so long.

Just don't try and say some BS like its my fault tho, thats what I don't like hearing, I didn't do anything wrong by not knowing what scale a comiquette was and relying on an established company I've delt with before.

No you didn't do anything wrong but I just thought if you were around here long enough you knew it was a safe bet that it is a comiquette and it is AH! so it is probably gonna be 1/5th. I know a lot of people here weren't surprised. Such is life.

Never trust SSC specs, that's newb status all way. I had to put one scale nazi down in the Marvel threads a few months ago :banghead

Agreed with Sexy, this also would be 1:2 status if it were 22" tall...
