I think with things like these, we need to let them stand on their own merits.
Of course when we compare that of a prototype, which is painted by an in-house professional with all the time in the world paying great attention to detail, to that of a warehouse worker looking at hundreds more to go in a time crunch, we are going to notice the difference.
However, If you never saw the proto but only YOUR specific statue, Im sure 9 out of 10x you'd be happy with it. Just sayin'

Of my 1/4 scale pieces in my collection, I only sorta regret getting 4 pieces (which at last count stood at 32 pieces). Of those 4, 3 happen to be Sideshow movie related pieces.

The DW Thor, the BVS Batman, and to a much lesser extent the A1 Loki.

But then I guess that's why they always have that line in the promo pics that the final production piece may differ from those shown.

Yeah pricey, but most likely well worth it.

After getting the 1/2 scale Batfleck, if I had more display space I would definitely be considering getting the Armored version as well.

If I could sell my 1/4 scale from Sideshow at cost, I would. But that's not going to happen. Just hope I don't feel the same when I get the 1/4 Armored.

I'm literally 10 miles from Sideshow's HQ and they charge me anywhere from $25-$35 for shipping stuff. so $50 to NY works out to $0.0167/mi, while I pay $3/mile
I've asked if I can just come by and pick it up directly LOL!!

Same here.

Just hope the skin face paint is better than the normal version.

Unfortunately I'm starting to regret getting that one. Especially after getting the 1/2 scale from Prime 1.
