That's exactly were it should be.
I do question SS. I don't think it's cost due to what they(SS) paid to make the figure. Look at their shipping prices. How do they charge so much to ship something. I get charged double sometime triple what other's charge to ship and they are across the country; sometimes across the globe. SS doesn't even bother to put it in another box and the shipping is at a premium. You figure they ship enough product to acquire shipping at a discount.
I know...I don't have to buy a thing, but sometimes it's nice to be kissed when you're bent over that table.
Yeah I remember when it was free domestic shipping. Then it went to flat rate $10.00. Dunno what happened but yeah they do charge premium on shipping items now.

Fang aside, I keep flip-flopping if I like the body. I am experimenting with a new 'skinny' body (like Bruce actually was in the 80s).

All honesty, what do you think?

Main reason I am hesitant to use this body is it feels...inefficient. The stock body looks pretty good on this figure and you can't really use the stock body for anything else as the arms don't match! Right shoulder is smaller on the chainsaw arm and it uses an ugly double jointed elbow, so it isn't like the stock body is suitable for anything but this figure. I think they both look pretty good... I like the skinny seamless arm body, but do I like it enough to 'waste' the stock and lose this body off another project?

Great minds! Was thinking of trying a different body as well. I’ve not bought a Sideshow fig in a long time, and am very impressed w/ this one, but I do have issues lol. Just watched the movies and the sculpt is stylized. Almost a caricature. Tho still one of the best I’ve seen. But my main issue is the bod. Too muscular. Something weird w/ the hips. I can’t get his mom jeans to stay lower. They’re too high waisted as it is but the body’s hips keep ‘em riding high lol.

But mainly I was hoping for a seamless left arm, and reeeeally good shoulder artic so he could do the boomstick over head pose. It looks BAD w/ the SS stock body. Anyone try a body like this…

hate to use a entirely seamless bod just for the arm, but it’s skinny, and looks like it can do the arm over head pose w/ accurate shoulder look.

I had to go with evilface to have ED2 decal made. I can't believe the prices ssc is charging nowadays for their stuff and they can't even do a proper display stand.

This ****ing figure cost me like 100 bucks to ship to Canada after customs and shipping costs. What a ****ing gyp. Boarder fees are out of hand.

Got to give everything a solid once over and I'm just as impressed as everyone else. I cant exactly place why, but I still can't quite call this HT quality though. Maybe it's because the sculpt doesn't have the same realism as the usual HT? Either way, it's extremely close and probably the first time I can say a SS fig can step in the ring with a HT fig and legitimately compete.

It felt high quality straight out of the box. Maybe because I got lucky with an all around tight body. I definitely didn't get the same quality perception when I opened Maul and give him a quick once over. Great accessories (even the necronomicon looks better in hand than pics suggest), solid paint, awesome outfit & weathering.

I hope this is the start of a trend and not a one-hit-wonder!

I'd say it's on par... nothing glares at me as being below the quality you'd expect from HT. Maybe more to the point if you handed me the head and said; "this was from HT", I'd believe you.

Oh man, you are tempting me......thanks for your honest thoughts

Paint on the head sculpt is really close to HT, but the accessories are classic Sideshow. The Henrietta head looks exactly like one of their Zombie heads I have from years ago (the screaming santa suit head).
Also, if you really compare the possessed hand to one of Ash' it's actually a wee bit under-scale.

Great point, they do knock out the accessories often. And gloves, boots...etc Still use my Sideshow 'Greedo killer' gun with my ANH ht Han

Well bbts charged me today so i canceled the wait list on ssc. Funny thing the shipping was 10$ and they double box it. How they hell can ssc use the same shipper without double boxing and still charge 22$? ****ing scam.
