Hmm, it's weird. It's a good Keaton sculpt, but for some reason it doesn't completely sell me on Beetlejuice. Can't put my finger on what it is exactly.

I think its still the hair, not just styling, but you need to trim hair off the top. The hair on the top of the head is too long and too much. It should be more like a receding mullet. Long on the sides shorter and slightly balding on the top.

Plenty of green in the hair, which is great to see. In Sideshow’s earlier images, the hair looked so blonde I thought they were recycling their Lost Boys Kiefer Sutherland figure.

They do appear slightly less dark on the sleeves. But I wouldn't have noticed that if I hadn't watched that review. Not a big deal to me.

Holy sh*t that looks AMAZING! It's not just by far the best I've seen this figure look, but it's gonna be hard to top. You did a great job of pushing the top of the hair back a bit so it doesn't look so huge up top. No way am I gonna take some scissors to this and give it a little trim...'cause if you mess up, there's no going back.

Love it! I'll have Beetlejuice (88), Burton Joker (89), and Edward (90) all in a row in my detolf display / timeline

Burton really did have an epic 80s/90s run.

Pix, great pictures, but what do you think of him in hand?

Hair does need the water treatment. It is bulbous and awful right out of the box. But it is easy and kinda fun to shape with a pinched bit of water. Overall I think SS is about 90% there on the likeness and the paint work was surprisingly good for Sideshow. There is a difference in the black stripes but not enough to bug me or even worth noting, imo. I was susprised that the stand actually reads "Beetlejuice", as I assumed it would just be generic black. But I am glad I got the custom one from eBay.

The body feels a little cheap too... not BCS cheap, but cheap. The box is imaginative and cool. But the asking price is about $100 too high, imo.

8/10 figure for me.
