On mine, the peg doesn't fit completely in the base. Which causes a small gap or lift between the feet and the base. I could fix it by using the dremel tool to notch out the hole a little more where the peg fits in, but I don't know if I want to go that route yet. Also, I don't know how thin the polystone is either.

It didn't seem like a big deal to me. I just put a little piece of cardboard under the right heel. This way the statue leans forward enough to make the left foot touch the arm.

I don't sweat the small stuff.

Great statue, IMO. I'm just happy sideshow made it.

I understand your point of view and agree that this is a great statue. I was just reporting my minor issues, but I do think these issues need to be heard. I would like to see these QC issues corrected in the future.

It's only noticeable when you are at eye level with the base and foot area. I will have to give your cardboard trick a try. I have a quick question. Did you use any kind of colored cardboard or just the normal brown cardboard? Thanks in advance.

Totally understandable.

I used cardboard from a pack of duracel batteries. I'll take some time and cut it into a horseshoe shape in a few days. This way it will be nicely concealed.

I can see why you might say that it is small stuff if cardboard can fix yours and that is really good but I can't seem to force my Faith's foot to touch the arm because of the angle of the metal pole - she only moves forward a certain amount and I'd have to risk breaking her if I forced it and I am not willing to do that. I'll have to take another look just to be sure - thanks for the suggestion anyways though. Plus, for something of this cost I don't think even the small stuff should go without comment - I am happy they made it too but I personally think that if they there are to be flaws then they should lower the price accordingly.

Anyways, like Firebird said, I only notice mine when on eye level so I will live with it rather than return over it but I agree wholeheartedly with binky that even if we choose to keep and live with the statue we should get feedback to SS so they know our opinions - I intend to write and comment upon it myself.

Hmmm, I do not think I have the feet issue. Mine was very tough to get in but once I got it in it fits nicely.

As promised:

I'm happy with her. She does appear to have the slightest lazy eye, but she still looks great from most angles. Getting her is kind of sad though. Shortly after I get the Spike statue I will be selling my Buffy. Shortly after that I will be selling Faith and Spike. I do not have Angel on order . I just don't have the space for everything else that I want and the BtVS statues. I did kick myself after I bought Buffy. I had told myself to not start any new lines, and here it is coming back to haunt me...

It sounds like you're sending back Faith and have cancelled Spike, which I assume means you are going to go ahead and sell your Buffy ex Throne of the Slayer? I recently picked up a non-ex Throne of the Slayer from ebay (I'm late to the game on collecting statues) but I'd really like the exclusive version. If you are indeed selling, do you mind if I ask by what means? If I can pick up an exclusive, I'm going to put my newly acquired regular version up for sale on ebay or something. thanks.

Here's a group pic I took today. There is not any sunshine today and the lighting stinks. Camera is not the best either, but will try and take some pics of Faith tomorrow.

I had the same foot issue as Jedah Kalm posted, but I got a little daring after reading Something Sexy's post. I tried to put some more pressure on the Faith statue and was able to fit the feet flush to the base. I didn't here any cracking and the base and statue are perfectly fine without any issues.

I think they look awesome in a row, too. JK because to me, Willow will always be Tara's girl. Wiffy pairings always give me the heebeejeebees. It would be almost incestuous.

I have Angel EX on preorder and I am wait listed for Spike EX. I think both the males will look great in the grouping, but I think Willow will become the odd ball. She looks just too playful and innocent. The others have a more serious look about them.

Yeah, I dont think Willow really fits in with the theme of all the other statues, but they all do look great. Can't wait for Spike and Angel, plus still hoping to get Faith.
