The batteries on my crappy camera just died!! Gotta go buy AAA rechargeables...

Got him posed flying with crossed arms and full double sabre slashing. Eyes are focused fine -- don't care for the white spot of death, but that's standard. No repaint here!

Maybe I can post pictures by tonight. I am very impressed with the new packaging. I had to get a replacement on my Obi box after UPS crushed it. This one's pristine -- the styrofoam end caps mean there's a half-inch or so of air all the way around inside the box. Sideshow just keeps improving things.

Oh, if you try to switch hands and it seems difficult, don't force it...mine had a little blob of vinyl that didn't quite separate when the hole inside the glove for the wrist peg was punched. I removed the obstruction with tweezers and the new glove went on the wrist fine.

Basically to discover how close Sideshow ships in accordance to ordering times... With SDCC Vader it seems to prove pretty true to the order.. A few fell through the cracks.. Looks like I am one of those this time.

Meanwhile, I usually get my stuff first (being about 15-20 miles from SS) along with the others here that have already received theirs but I have not yet received my Quantum mail. So the earliest I can hope for him via UPS is Monday (if I get that darn mail tonight).

There does seem to be evidence that SS does ship as best they can to those that ordered first.

I'm back, the new batteries are charging.

It's odd, I posed him from memory of a picture I'd liked here...it's the picture Darthrazz re-posted, but I completely reversed the pose. The white spot in the photo is a reflection. I didn't want to completely undress him, but his britches have a snap in the back, so I checked...his little Sithian buns are burnt, boys. The body is all black. The black plastic has a slight sheen compared to the flat paint on the head and neck, so it's easy to catch that reflection at the top of the torso with a camera, because there's a finish shift right there between the two blacks.
