If you have legitimate concerns for returns/replacements then trust in the system. But if you're the type of person that's a worry wart or a nervous Nancy and all you can do is sit there and bombard them with constant follow-up email and phone calls without giving them the requested amount of time to deal with your concern step-by-step in accordance with their standard procedures or personal instructions and direction then that's on you. You're probably prolonging the process yourself.

The problem is in addition to people who want the process over faster than is reasonably conceivable is people who scam and fraud them and people who have gripes like replacement shipper boxes. It doesn't hurt to ask but once you know how the returns/damage process works it should make dealing with it easier. If you don't like it then don't bother dealing with them.

Thanks bud maybe one day I'll buy a camera but I rather buy statues instead lol
:yess:

How many times have I meant to buy something only to instead buy a statue, why is this hobby so ****ing addicting :lol

Great shots Krueger. Hopefully I'll get my one through soon, I'm still waiting on info but I got mine from a reseller.

You know, I always thought that the Cap PF was larger than 1/4 scale. I don't know if it's the angle but he looks to be quite a bit bigger than DP. I have my Punisher Com and DP PF on the same shelf and they look good together. The scale difference between them is negligible. However, it looks like Cap towers over them. It's kind of like the original Spidey Com. That piece is most definitely larger than 1/4 scale. Nice pics by the way.

Cap is 1/4. He's just massive

This was my first time actually getting a replacement part, so i was a bit nervous. I admit, I'm a worry wart (but I only sent one follow up email!). Just can't help thinking the worst sometimes...had it in my head that they might run out of replacements before getting to my request.

I've had a couple items with small damage before, and I got a partial refund. SS was good to me during those times as well.

The lady I spoke with this time around was very nice, and I'm glad that I have my issue resolved now. Replacement base should be on it's way soon.

Can't wait to get my new base and post some proper pics of this guy. The statue on mine came out near flawless, and I am pretty pleased with this piece...one of my favourite characters.

Glad to hear it worked out for you bud. I had faith SS would come through for you. My replacement head shipped yesterday. Less that a week after I initially emailed them. That pretty awesome I'd say. I showed my wife the paint chip and she couldn't even believe that I bothered to complain about that or that SS would actually send a replamemt for that. She said that was pretty fair or them.

Wow. Deadpool is my first SS piece and thought it was huge but it looks so tiny compared to the hulk maquette. :horror. And that Thor to is huge is that bigger that 1/4 or is the photo just deceiving.

Great pics by the way kruger I can only hope to have a collection and collection room like that someday. :clap

Finally got around to picking up my deadpool ex today and am really impressed.
I'm always worried buying straight from sideshow but this is a flawless statue :)
The detail is fantstic it's the small touches that make it for me like the writing in the guns.
Anyway here's some pics

Deadpool looks 1/5 in that pic... I know he isn't and it is just the angle, but he barely reaches Hulk's navel.... lol

That's why I brought up the Cap PF. He has to be bigger than 1/4 scale. DP and Cap are both 6'2". There is no way Cap should tower over Wade like that.

I had stated in another thread that the Punisher Com is actually larger than 1/5 scale and should look OK next to other 1/4 pieces. Frank is 6'1" and would only be 14.6" (73" divided by 5) tall if he were in true 1/5 scale. Instead the Punisher Com clocks in at about 16.5". When I tried to make the argument that the Punisher Com is pretty close to 1/4 scale, another member took a pic of the Cap PF with the Punisher Com and of course the Punisher Com looked small next to it. Now I see the Deadpool PF (who is the same height as Cap) look small next to the Cap PF as well. However, when you put Wade next to Frank, there is only a negligible difference between the 2. The Cap PF has to be larger than 1/4 scale. Just like the original Spidey Com.

The only reason I bring this up is because it really messes with a collector when they are trying to get a sense of scale by comparing pieces to Cap or Spidey. Both pieces look great. I would even say that the extra size makes them even more epic. However, they shouldn't be used in scale comparisons. It's a bit misleading.

The Thor comic PF has to be bigger than 1/4 too. I know Thor would be a big dude, but he almost makes the Hulk look puny.

Overall, slight variations in scale don't bother me. Thor being huge is fine, and GL being slightly smaller is also fine. At the end of the day, I'm just looking for a quality statue.

I was just thinking about this the other day. Wonder if SSC would release that particular #98 to the public. If I was you no matter your current display. I would seek out a 9.8 graded (see what I did there...;)) comic and make that your display. Man you so lucky to get # 98. That definitely makes it a little more special to me and I think a few others would agree.
:exactly: Haha thats exactly what i had in mind :) thanks tho
I have that issue somewhere

Soooooo, u wanna hook me up? :)
