Digital entries should be upload to our competition FTP. The FTP details are as follows:

server: figureitout.sideshowtoy.com
username: figureitout
password: ssc^2008?

i type the server in and it takes me right back to the main page!

anyone know how to actually upload from the page! i see other peoples vids but no upload button!:monkey2

You need to use an FTP client program to log on and upload your video. They offer 2 free programs in the "Upload Entry" section of the contest description. I believe Cyberduck for Macs or Filezilla for PC users.

i hear filezilla leaves spyware on your system. do you need to specifically use the filezilla file transfer protocol program? i use smart ftp. it's also free.

You can also open the FTP site in Windows Explorer and just drag and drop or copy and paste into the folder.

not sure how that works. do you use internet explorer to get to the ip address, enter username and pw when prompted? then drag and drop with windows explorer?

No, use plain old Windows Explorer and enter the ftp site up in the address bar; it will popup a dialog box asking for the username and password and if correct, then show up as folder in Explorer, where you can use it like any folder on your hard drive (almost).
