With the back of the shirt pulled back this looks pretty amazing. I think the only improvements could be better blood splatter and a mask repaint.

I agree with you. That's what I plan to do with mine when he arrives.

I also noticed that the front of his shirt has poseable wire in it to pose the bottom of his shirt.

Hmm overall looks good, blood effect looks bad imho, and I'm waiting to see more hi res shots of the base because in some pictures it looks a bit flat compared to the proto. Can't get over the blood effect btw, they really had little to paint on this one

So number 447 has arrived and it's awesome. The blood and weathering looks fine. I wasn't too impressed with the original when I had it but this one's a keeper.

Question: Has anyone else noticed the sound of liquid sloshing around inside the base? Is SS filling the bases with some kind of liquid to add weight?

NO liquid in mine . My base is solid and I do not hear anything moving around in it at all.

Just unboxed mine. It's a terrible feeling hearing "broken pieces" rattling around. Luckily it was just a bag of that silica that had broke open. This is easily the best Jason so far. My Freddy vs Jason one will look like a kindergarten project next to this. He is a little too clean but doesn't look bad. This is a hulking, ominous looking statue. Love the base! The new Freddy and Leatherface will look awesome when all 3 are displayed together. Nicely done SS!!!

Thanks for checking. Spoke to SS CS and they aren't sure how it's possible but I'm sure that there's some kind of liquid moving around inside the base. Started the claim process so I'll see what happens.

Checking everyday for the end of the NRD, still can't believe they keeping that on there when clearly the statue is available for shipping, got to hope the Ex does not go to waitlist. Anyone have an idea why its still got the NRD on there still?

So i recieved mine today #967, not sure how that happened since i ordered day 1 but oh well. First things first,.. open the box pullout the styrofoam and theres a wad of tape and red rag crushed into the box,.. uh oh. Open the box and the speargun is in pieces,... jesus really. Start to slowly take the statue out. Its flawless. The weathering and blood are totally acceptable,.. paint app spot on. No chips scratches or dings. This piece is amazing. I just have to get in contact with sideshow tomorrow in regards to the spear gun,.. otherwise i could not be any happier. Heres some pics.

There was another piece to the spear gun as well. Didnt realize it was in the box in the bottom of the styrofoam. Other than that this seriously is an awesome piece,.. should look nice next to pinhead under some red lighting

Im definitely liking the look of this PF more in recent pics. To my eyes its much closer to a part 4 jason. Shirt colour and mask shape are closer to that look IMO.

I am actually glad I cancelled the pinhead PF, it just does not quiet match up to these new bases

The pinhead is an amazing piece though. In regards to this horror line though, i feel as if pinhead is more of a stand alone, because you are correct. He does not match up with the jason, freddy, or leatherface.

I was thinking of putting pinhead with the old Jason and Freddy. I have Freddy with Jason already but since Freddy is so much smaller, I have him on a riser. This way he doesn't look ridiculous. Might do the same for Pinhead. I need to make room. My shelves are all full.

And then I will put the new trio together.
