Jaws does the 62 godzilla have blue toes? just in the pic?

It is a great buy, but I don't agree with that statement at all. Bashing the SS piece on this thread has become obligatory at this point and is a natural reaction to the price (which I agree is about $100 over what is should be).

For reference, take a look at the comments earlier in the thread during the reveal at Comicon. Now after the price reveal every few posts are nitpicking the piece to death.

For reference, I thought exactly the same re. the detailing and paint prior to the price reveal.

I'm amazed at the accuracy of the face, but I shouldn't be considering the artist

62 does have blue toes... It's the one thing that really bothers me on it... I am going to have to fix it some day.

looks cool man. Do you think it broke because the casting is thin or was it just not packed very good? I'm getting mine directly from Hector and had him remove the tail for me to "hopefully" minimize damage *knock on wood*. I'll post a pic of the closed mouth head. Should have it next week.

The Break at the arm is where the piece goes together... So I can see why it broke... I think it might have packaged a too tightly... But this was set to me from Germany and not from Hectot himself...

Mine was packaged well I just think too much pressure hit the side of the box... I was able to glue it back on and paint it... No problem at all.

I think with the tail removed that you will have no problem at all.

Soooo I think I am going to return the Godzilla maquette to the seller.. The damages are far to bothersome to pay the amount I did

After you've glued and painted it? Hope it goes well.

Well some of the damage was already there (broken and repaired spike on back) and the claws on his left hand were broke off and not in the box... So even with the arm repair (which with the photos I took of the broken arm).... I think I have a case.

Seller seems like a good guy though... SO we will see.

Yep... Claws were missing on left hand and his dorsal plate looks to have been repaired... You can see the horizontal line in this pic.

Well the seller was cool and offered almost 300.00 back so I took that.. Much better then trying to ship it again and worry about all of that... Now I have to figure out how to make some tiny claws .. Either way I feel better about the deal now.
