i have both also, and if i had to make a choice between the two of them i would go with the green imo.
again looking at squid's pics the green just seems to have more depth to him and makes him look more pissed.

also the green is what everyone associates with hulk.

Actually, he's black and white Hulk.. either way... "white" Bush did aid in the aforementioned two problems.

I bought mine about 6 or 7 months ago I believe. The low prices on green hulk started about 4 or 5 months ago and they just started to rise up again last month.

+1..... I got mine for about $650 shipped a few months ago. And I've seen in jump up in prices recently! Thank god I got mine earlier!!!

Yes, there are quite a few criteria that speak for either the green or the grey version. Again, this is pretty nicely illustrated here in the opinions in this thread. There is a difference between the character of the grey hulk and the green hulk. Sort of two different personalities. Although initially, it was just a practical decision that changed the Hulk's intended color from grey to green. I'd suggest, read a few Hulk comics, and then decide which hulk personality you like better.
Which ever version you pick, know that both are a representation of the 'ultimate Hulk'. There's no better Hulk figure out there.
I went with the Grey, but have to admit that if both versions wouldn't have the same pose, I would have bought both.
It is true that the green Hulk is more widely know, but is that a valuable reason to put it over the grey version? I don't think, so.

My biggest issue, is that grey savage hulk is extremely rare. He was initially intended to be grey, and was for the first comic or so. After that there was a printing error that made him look green instead of grey. Because grey was so hard to get right at that time they switched over to green almost immediately. After that the grey hulk was mostly represented as Joe-fix-it (with an entirely different look). Basically, to me the grey hulk represented in this PF barely exists.

Gery Hulk re-appeared a couple of times. The grey Hulk is not very savage at all. You could say that he's more 'reflective' than the green Hulk.
