You're hilarious!!!

:lol:lol:rotfl

just got mine today. It's ok I guess, not very impressed by it. For the price I was expecting a lot more articulation I guess. Not much in the accesory department either. And how do the expect you to bend the ings on the ship without it breaking eventually? I did not even try it. I will still keep it since I wanted a Mazinger but I am dissapointed.:(

Really?
Wow... that sucks!!
Can you post some pics of it, I am still really hyped by this figure, and might get it later, but if it is that bad, I wonder if it's worth it...
Do you own any of the Soul of Chogokin Mazinger figures? Those have amazing quality, detail and accessories!

I will try to post some pics later. I only have a pvc figure of mazinger that is pretty cool but i always wanted a 12" size figure. Like the size of voltron, that is why I jumped on this. Don't get me wrong the figure is still pretty cool but I was hoping for more. I have seen some other figures that look great and are even diecast but the prices are crazy and it only seems to be made in 7" sizes. I anyone knows of a mazinger 12" diecast let me know which one to look for. But the figure is growing on me. It even stands on its own unlike the sideshow figures:D

I think in 12" this is the only DieCast...
Yep, I have a Le'reve 12" which is nice, but I want to replace it with this...

Who is this guy?

If Tetsujin is the grandaddy of Mecha Super Robots,
Mazinger would be the daddy of contemporary Super Robots like Gundam and Evangelion

Strange that SSC get's the Mazinger, but doesn't get the Goldorak. Anyway, Goldorak was more popular in Europe.
These weren't that popular here in the US, but in "Latin"-America Mazinger was hugely popular in the 80's, and I mean He-Man/Transformers popular.

Mazinger was also H-U-G-E in Spain, and it's still a cherished memory for every guy in his thirties.

You'd be hard-pressed to find someone who's ever heard of either Grendizer or Goldorak around here, though.

HL PRO - Jumbo 24" MAZINGER Z (Tranzor Z) & GRENDIZER (Grandizer)

I am a huge UFO Robo Grendizer fan. I have lots of High Dream's Go Nagai products!

I have skipped the 12" Grendizer, Great Mazinger and Mazinger Z figures but I have the 24" (60cm) jumbo Grendizer and I just ordered the 24" Mazinger Z as well!
Hopefully, HL PRO will make a 24" Great Mazinger figure soon to complete the famous trio!

I was told the jumbo Mazinger Z figure is a lil' bit shorter than Grendizer. Good for me, since the actual super robot stats give 'em their heights as follows: -
  • GRENDIZER (King of Space) h 30 meters | w 280 tons
  • GREAT MAZINGER (Hero of the Skies) h 25 meters | w 32 tons
  • MAZINGER Z (The Iron Castle) h 18 meters | w 20 tons
