Sideshow Hoth Han Solo (Echo Base)

Ha, yeah I love how this has almost turned into the new Bespin Han thread. It does look to me like the head might be a smidge oversized (making the torso look a lot shorter than it should), but it's still definitely a massive improvement over the old figure.

I think it's that the opening in Han's head is a bit shallow compared to most neckless sculpts... because of this on a muscular style HT body with a standard neck ball joint the head sits a smidge higher than the neck. I noticed a bit of gapping. I had a short neck plug from one of my KP bodies, but it was too short

I think the easiest fix is just to use some bluetac to hold the head in place (that way it can sit flush on the neck) or drill into Han's head so the ball joint can go a bit further.

Got mine yesterday and he is on the same body as Luke. The 1.1 I think. Not sure.
Had to port him over and build my Bespin.


Not great pics but you get the idea with height.




I used a Wolverine Last stand body for Bespin han. It has the molded neck but the double jointed arms instead of the sculpted ones. I haven't put any feet in yet. He seemed to work ok without so far and I'm all out of feet and ankle pegs.

I used an extra Chris Reeve Superman body for Hoth Han but I don't have the ankle pegs for that one either. Regular ones don't seem to fit. I think they may be smaller. He's a good height now though. I like it.

Yep, that's a 1.1... so it really does seem to be random at least with the blue exclusive as I got a 1.0 and you got a 1.1.

Luke seems to always be on the 1.1 though, which is the wrong body for him. But Han is hit or miss

All these awesome Han and Luke duo shots whether it be the Bespin look or the Hoth look just makes me sad for the lack of Leia.
A Hoth and a Bespin Leia would be amazing.

I'd say that is the version of Leia I want most... definitely want an ANH version as well, but Hoth/Bespin look is my favorite for her.

I got a 1.0 for both blue and brown!




I'm loving this figure! Clothes, boots, accessories, sculpts, everything. Putting him together felt like putting together a Hot Toys figure.

Now to work on Mr. Blue. And maybe use the other sculpt to make an older Smuggler Han on a narrow shoulder, as Cavlcade's looked good.

Here's something I discovered I guess all the recent joes have the 1.1 body. I just checked..My Duke, Hawk and Beachhead all have the 1.1.
