Hoth Han (Brown and Blue) remain among my favourite figures. The sculpt, however, is an anomaly.
With the cap on and hood up it works really well for the scene intended, i.e. with the hood up outside in the cold! It's a cold, frozen face with intense, determined eyes under a furrowed brow.
The alternate sculpt with hair is quite a different matter. It doesn't work the same. Unlike the capped sculpt, looking at it directly from the front is a no no. I was just about to break down my Bespin Han bash and put the body in the spare parts drawer, but then I picked up the unused spare un-capped sculpt.
Turning it gradually to one side or the other the likeness improves greatly. From those angles the upper eyelids/brow change the shape of the eyes significantly.
It means turning the head to one side, and the (HT oval) base itself almost sideways. But it also means I can give the bash a stay of execution.
