I think I might have mentioned this before, and had completely forgotten it myself, but it just struck me again as I was pushing the hood back on my brown coat Han (to differentiate him a bit from the blue coat one):
The sun is shining, which has been a rare occurrence here for months, but the curtains are drawn to protect my figures. The light coming through the curtains, however, has an odd effect on the brown coat. It appears maroon rather than brown. In fact, it appears exactly like the real brown coat when it was wet or under certain lighting conditions in the film.
ZE_501 just mentioned the word "serendipity" in the Luke X-Wing thread, with reference to the eyes on the figure viewed through the translucent yellow visor. And within minutes I was seeing it with Han's coat.
I've seen exactly the same effect with the suit on HT's Joker Bank Robber 2.0. Under certain conditions the grey suit is distinctly purple.
