Well besides a couple clones in the PT movies, when did you ever see any Empire Troopers head? Anyone get a look a adult Boba's head? Yup, I didn't see them either. Sculpted helmet heads for me it is.

Just because we don't see them in the movies doesn't mean we can't leave room for our imaginations. Besides, how the does adapter idea affect sculpted helmets? If you want them masked, just leave the mask connected to the adapter. Others, who might purchase multiples of the figure and want to display some unmasked can do so by replacing the adapter with a head. No harm done. The helmets and masks will still maintain their correct proportions and should fit on securely if the adapter is done right.
