Update:

I was offered two options regarding the Iron Man Bust from my LCS:

1) Keep it with a partial refund of 20% of the purchased price
2) Return it for a full refund (store credits)

I decided to return it as I do not think I can get someone to repair it.

Well, I guess I will save the credits for the Legendary Scale Wolverine? hah

In all, I am absolutely pleased with the outcome, a pity this Iron Man bust was poorly made.

HOLY ____! The day my waitlist converts may be finally here:lol!

Seriously though, I find this to be one of the nicest pieces Sideshow has released, it's a shame that so many people had troubles with it. I'm sure they will fix this one and grant it to some other lucky buyer.

What I really want to know is if we will ever see another Iron Man bust... maybe a MarkIV with chest reactor? Wasn't that rumored?

I understand being upset about the peeling and all, but we have some very talented painted on these forums. Just like any other collection, you have to maintain it sometimes. Meaning that you own it, it sucks that the paint is peeling, but is yours now and what are you going to do? Cry over some spilled milk, or use that energy and get it taking care by commissioning a painter. I'm sure they'll have no problem fixing it for you at a cost. It sucks but sometimes you have to take things into your own hands as a collector. The same happen to me with my Venom & Sabretooth LSB's, but luckily I have insurance and it cover the cost of the repainting.

Insurance guys, I know that it cost but it's well worth your sanity and the preservation of your collection...:lecture
