The pose on this PF reminds me of a Looney Tunes character tiptoeing along.

Ah okay. I wonder if anyone's going to try re-posing the position of the arms and make him better positioned. I know that could mean losing the light-up function of the blade, but honestly I never really keep my Anakin PF on. It's fine the way it is.

I think some of the best poses I would have used would have been any of these:

Or any other of his ready for action poses in the film. Rarely did Luke have only one hand on his saber in ROTJ. He got a bit overconfident in ESB and Vader PWNED him when he did only use one hand. In ROTJ both hands on the hilt looked more disciplined and focused in his style and I think that's what really suffers in this PF. I would have REALLY loved to see Luke holding the saber with both hands. If I remember this pose I think it was a split quarter second after he kicked Vader down the steps in the Emperor's Throne Room.

Yep, good points, and they've all been mulled over in this thread at some point. My love for the sculpt and character sold me on this piece, despite its flaws.

I had to cancel my pre-order for this one. I want to like it, but I just can't - I don't get the pose. And any figure that you have to try and make up reasons for getting, just isn't worth buying...

It's a shame, since ROTJ Luke is probably my favorite incarnation of the character.

i agree that they should have picked a better pose but i like it enough to keep my preorder. an empire strikes back luke would have been better though.
