Actually I have quite a bit from them and have been ordering from them for years. Never had a real issue until now.

Not sure what the tusks are made from. Feels like resin. They actually feel pretty sturdy. The leather wrappings look pretty decent.

When you get up close and look at the silver weathering in the scratches it looks pretty crappy. They even took the silver paint and wrapped it around towards the lens where there is no scratches. I know no one is going to get that close to it when it is hanging on my wall, but it just bothers me.

I can see how crappy paint apps would hurt it.. hope the one I get is good to go......

Hmmm.... looks like there might be some heating/repositioning of the tusks in order on some of these, and I will definitely be weathering the tusks and the leather wrappings a bit. (and of course my little angle adjuster magnet! )

Guess you can still try your luck but the tax codes have been changed to put an end to the 5% rate on these. Il be ringing when my Preddy LSB comes in though, worth a try.

Yep, massive difference, not SS's fault i guess but they will lose alot of sales due to this, il be ordering no more after my LSB and Berserker maquette....

Well, mine went back today. I won't be here when the replacement arrives so I'll have my wife take a look at it. Hopefully it looks better than the one I just sent back.

Just opened mine today and ive got to say im really not very happy with the overall finish of it !

The tusks are wonkey i have one pointing up and one pointing down, it doent sit on the base very well wobbles about and the silver paint in the damaged part of the mask looks like it was done by 3 year old
