I agree with those who love Jack, it is a great PF. I have four and this one is probably my favorite.

Yup, it exists. It isn't called Premium Format, as I believe it actually pre-dates that term, but it is listed as a 1:4 scaled replica.

It's made of steel, and has articulation at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, and on each joint on his digits. Below the waist it's a solid chunk of steel.

There is a light-up feature for the eyes and it works quite well. They're quite rare, and you'll have difficulty finding one for less than $1,000, but it's worth getting if you can afford it.

They also made a 1:2 version and a 1:1 version, but I believe there is less articulation with those versions, and they might have replaced the steel with polystone in order to keep the weight down. I don't own the larger versions, so I can't say for sure.

Unfortunately the diameter of the compass loop was too small for the leather strap.

I'll have to go to a hobby store to find the right size.

Try one of those stores that sells beads. They usually have lots of sizes and colors of leather straps availalble.

I bought mine at a bead store. They have rolls and rolls of leather cording! Get the smallest diameter they sell!
