Super Freak
Got mine yesterday with no issues.
My goodness, what a fantastic piece this one turned out to be.
Anyone getting replacement or refund because of the holes in the wrist area ?
Thanks

Sent mine back today for a refund. No dis to anyone loving/keeping theirs but I'm not going to support (what I consider to be) subpar products anymore. We pay too much for these to accept "not too bad's"
Honestly, I would do the same thing. SSC just cut too many corners with this piece. I would be way too worried that there would be more issues that could develop over time. I will be keeping a close eye on the weight for these larger pieces. There is no way I'm spending the kind of money SSC is asking for on these larger pieces and they weigh just 20 lbs. They need to weigh at least 30 lbs IMHO. Can you imagine how much better Rhino could be with another 10 lbs of material added to it? It certainly wouldn't be as eggshell thin as it is and probably wouldn't suffer from the cracking issues we are seeing.
I don't need my statues to be solid, but I do need them to be well made. The Hulk Com is a great example of a statue with hollow parts. It weighs over 30 lbs and just feels like a quality piece. I don't worry about cracks developing or other issues popping up over time.
Maybe not the best choice. I suspect there are quite a few people with problems on and off this forum with this statue, even if it's not the norm. This would have been a hit had it been heavier/thicker. Curious how long it will take for people to get replacements.
Only when you see it in person do you realize the barrier to purchase and ship there would have been had it not been made as light weight as it was. It was a good choice.

All depends on how you define a hit. Rhino is sold out. Is massive, & fits the line scale wise prefectly. Details look to be fantastic. Pose is great. Portraits are excellent. Paint apps seem to be sound. Besides, I don't foresee SS releasing another Rhino, in this scale, anytime soon. So it's a question of jumping in as soon as possible, or risking missing out. But yes, structurally, SS should have taken better care. Now for the nervous wait.
It is a hit. A few people who are complaining about weight and never seen it in person or a few with some cracks is not indicative of the general consensus.
A hit is good, a grand slam would have been better.
This will always have the stigma of a faberge Rhino.
Do you have one? Have you held it?
Yes and yes. And compared to previous Sideshow purchases.
