Subtle? I really don't think so, but I'd like some more pics of the rainbow weathered Stormtrooper. The following is a no flash photo and he still looks like being crapped on by birds

Bit of a drama queen there. You'd have more ground to stand on if you had one in front of you. The weathering looks like weathering, like scratches and rust, not bird ____. If you want to continually justify not picking him up by bashing a figure you don't own and haven't seen first hand, whatever. :huh

I really don't think the battle damage looks bad...and I hate battle damage and weathering.

I am hoping that the armor is molded in color and not enhanced with paint so that I can remove the weathering.

It looked black underneath when I was dipping the breastplate last night.

This weathering is not what I like for stormies, thus I'm not sure I will get the figure in my collection. If SS would have made him clean, or at least a single color not rainbow-ish, then there would be another story. Neither of us need excuses for liking something that others don't. Personally I don't like it and that is why.

To maybe make me change my opinion I'm still waiting for some pics, to show something better than seen before, because until now I'm the only one who posted pics - and many more members (you included) got this figure.

Cool...thanks. I took the tringle off of a Cobra Sniper Helmet and it left a big shiny spot on the front of the helmet. Looked to me like there had been some kind of finish done to it. Can't be having that kind of damage with the Blackhole Stormtrooper.

After thinking about it...I believe maybe the thread title should be changed to Sideshow Blackhole Stormtrooper.

Yes...a small detail...but my extreme retentive nature needs to be pacified.

Just three pics this time. Have a couple others but will post those to the blog. Review will be up tomorrow.

Got mine last night, it does indeed look better in hand, but I still would have preferred non battle damage stormies. The weathering to me looks like he is getting electrified by Palps.

I thought there was something weird about this title.

I got mine. I would have preferred a clean one but I couldn't pass it up as a big EU fan!

This pic looks pretty good, but I like my 3 Medicoms a bit better. It's a shame there's so many scuffs, I probably would had bought a few. Then again maybe it's the knitted doily that makes it look better. :)
