@ Crimsonbob - That looks very cool. Excellent paint job. I am desparately hoping that these Blackhole Stormtroopers are molded in black and do not have any kind of applied finish to them so that I can remove the weathering and hopefully keep them new-looking.

I was thinking about the orange/blue/grey spots. And they don't look like light effect when taking the product photo, but weathering, and bad weathering...

I need to see some more pics of the figure before buying it. If it looks like the Stormie commander weathering then I might pass on it. Orange and gray/blue weathering can look weird on it.

I'm actually liking it. Especially after Imperial Commando and finding out (at least in Traviss' mythology) that these're the former Republic Commandos. The weathering fits veterans perfectly.

i like this alot. I think the weathering is great..like how it looks like the scuffed parts are a rusting from wear and tear. Looks like vets to me.

It'll be interesting how much more expensive than the stormie and the blue version this may be. Considering its just a repaint, I hope not above $90. If so, I'll pass....gotta save money on the Bounty Hunters

I would imagine it will be the same price... at this point this is the 8th trooper variation (3 sandies, Luke and Han 2 pack, regular Stormie and Unleashed Stormie).

Not an immediate purchase but definitely doesn't cause the rage filled posts that "Shadow" stuff has endured in the past. Weren't there Shadow AT-ATs at one time produced in the Titanium line? There is too much in the pipeline for these right now but good luck to those who want them. I too would have preferred a TIE Fighter pilot and have my fingers crossed that this will eventually lead to that.
