So I can't heap enough praise and love on this Spidey statue. I have had it for a few days now and I am always going back into my theater room just to stare at the amazing detail and overall coolness of this statue.

This and the the Hulk comiquette are both amazing statues that I just can't stop looking at. The Dynamic style of these just sets them apart from anything else that has been done of these two charaters. I am really impressed with the quality of work Sideshow has been putting out. Thanks SS!!

Anyways here are some silly photos that I took that don't do justice to how cool this pieces look.

I know there are plenty of photos but you can never have too many Spidey and Hulk photos. Also throwing in a Punisher because he is pretty Bad Ass also!!

maaaaan if i had 1k a month for this hobby i would turn my whole house into one big detolf cabinet!

My father left me some stocks of one of the biggest private company in HK, which makes me able to do whatever I like. (Of cos I cannot like buy a private jet or so so, I mean having a life like most of the citizens without really working that hard.) I am an independent scholar and I am also a private tutor. That's why I only work 15 hours a week in teaching younglings. I just spend the rest of my time on researches.

So I am checking out my Spidey because, you know, he is the greatest statue sideshow has ever done and I happen to notice this. Scratches above his left eye.

Thing is it does not look bad unless you are looking for it. Problem with me is my OCD. It will be what I am always looking for now.

Here is what really makes me sick. I may have done it!!!! I was cleaning off some of the extra black ink that was on the face with q tips and 70% alcohol. Now there are no other areas that look like that. But this are has more of a shine and the scratches. BARF!!! Would a q tip do that???? Anyone else get one with some scratches? I know QC sucked on this one and I had many of the same paint issues but I don't recall anyone having scratches. I think I would feel better if I knew I did not do it. but I probably did

I did not get him from SS so there is no returning. I don't want to anyways.

I am sure there is no way to fix it.

Like I said you really have to shine the light the right way and look for it to see it.

I guess I am just venting! I am sure I will get over it with a bit of time. Had to let my fellow freaks know what I was going through.

I tried in some areas you would not notice first. It worked fine. I then did several areas around the face and head. No problems for the most part until I noticed this. Thats why I was not sure if I did it. I got the info on how to do this over at SF and other have done it with no problems

Now I was just back up looking at it and it really is tuff to see the scratches. I can deal with those. They really don't bother me. I am surprised I was able to get such a good photo for them to show. But the shine gets my OCD going. Again if any one of you were in my house you probably not even notice. But I do.

PS: Mr Green I must be NUTZ to be f'ing around with my Spider man. I kid you not. I need to go to bed earlier. I seem to let things like black smudges get to me when i am tired.

It looks fine to me......You should not worry so much. It is not visible and I bet you that every single Spiderman has a scratch here or there as well as paint smudges...

Your Spidey looks awesome.....
