I was comparing the 2 in terms of value on the second hand market. Obviously everyone will have their favourites, etc...but the Doom PF EX is one of those pieces that sell for mega bucks as does the Predator 1:1 bust or Predator Maquette...i still think the droids exclusive will be in a league of their own value wise

This is all true. It would suck to try and pick these up in the aftermarket if someone was a fan of all of those licenses. We do have some peeps around here that are into all of the characters you listed and have the coin to drop on all of them. Thankfully, I'm a Marvel & DC guy so I limit my collection to those characters. Even if money wasn't a problem, space would be sooner or later. Playing catch up with any limited release/popular character can set anyone back a staggering amount of money in this hobby of ours.

As i have found out this past year! Only started this hobby Jan 12 and have aquired most of the so called "old school" pieces that i wanted (ie. Hulk PF, Captain America PF EX, Thor PF, Spiderman PF EX + Comiquette EX, Iron Man 1:1 bust to name a few) only for Thor PF did i pay way too much than i should have...(over excitement i think! )

The Doom PF will soon be overtaken by the R2D2/C3PO PF Exclusive...this is for sale already on ebay for over $2900!!! and the darn statue hasnt even been released yet

That is just a crazy asking price, they will not actually sell for that much, and if you do see a completed listing at that price it is a shill bid to falsely drive up the value.

There's at least 4 on ebay that are selling for less and the guy buys that one? That's gotta be a shill bid, no way somone can be that stupid to do a simple search and compare.

Finally have spidey in my collection, have to say I've seen in hand pics but can't
Really appreciate a piece once you see it in person. Blown away with this spidey really can't see anyone topping this spidey. Couldn't fit him with the bust in the besta but found a nice spot I think

You definitely have my backing. I can't believe after 4 Spiderman movies we haven't had one PF. I do wonder if there is a reason why SS havent made one yet because its obvious it's going to sell.

If you were a real spidey fan you'd have the negative zone pf displayed with both the intended base like you do but also with the regular spidey pf base that they shipped out by accident. Without that your collection fails!

lol, i actually never got the reg base with my neg zone spidey, as it was never sent out or sold to the general public like the other 75 were. the three that you see are a matching set.
