Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

Well I could still see myself going for the classic one day ... this one is just calling to me ... and I am crumbling ... lol. Maybe for my Bday in August:lecture

The physique is perfect on this one. I think better that the classic.

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

I'm hoping to get the BIB one day. From pictures it's a stunning piece & my favourite Spiderman costume

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

I know it is NOT the same classic look, BUT I might be getting this bad boy

This piece is amazing. It was my first segway into statues (aside from Legendary scale busts). You will not be displeased wit this piece. Get the BIB, not Iron Spider. This and the comiquette wall Spidey are by far my tops.

Yeah I am seriously thinking about getting the BIB, and if I ever got a Reg Iron Spider I might take a shot at customizing it to a classic.

Something like this maybe

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

The BIB spidey looks great......and that custom is sweet !!

That custom is awesome but unless you can do it yourself your better of just saving for the Classic CQ. To get a painter to do that isn't going to be cheap especially at them standards

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

BIB Spidey looks harsh next to my Avengers PF's. He just seems to fit right with them. And my classic Comiquette is with the other Spidey villains i have.

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

Sorry to interrupt the discussion, but I too NEED this piece and I know it's going to cost me a pretty penny. He's not even on eBay right now, but I thought I read that someone knows someone that is selling one? If so would you kindly let me know, because I'm just moved into my new place and have the perfect spot for this guy. If not, then I will just have to wait for another auction on the bay. Thanks in advance guys.

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

Whoa, BIB is not a good alternate to the classic com, it is a great companion to it. Every Spidey fan should have both.

Agreed. I pulled the trigger on the BiB Spidey a few months ago from a board member here. At $340 shipped, I just couldn't pass on it. So glad I didn't. It's such dynamic statue. I POd the EX classic Spidey Com direct from sideshow. Those 2 pieces just look freaking fantastic. Very happy to own both.

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

It is 1/4 ... the classic is a little bigger then 1/4 if I am not mistaken. If I am being honest, while the Captain America TFA PF got me to take the plung, the BIB was the FIRST piece that got me to NOTICE SSC

My story is similar to yours Spidey. I came across this on the web and almost bought it, but I thought it had to be too good to be true...it couldn't look that good in person. I had never seen a SS piece in person before, so I passed.

Then I went to SDCC in 2010 and spent an hour or so at the SS booth. That's when my addiction started. I picked up the BiB Spider-Man earlier this year, and it is incredible. You just can't beat the black suit!

Do it, my man...it's an awesome piece. As a fellow black suit lover, I'm telling you that you NEED this piece :lecture

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

Hey quad ... would you have any pics of this bad boy alongside other PFs??? I saw it a long time ago, but I don't have a proper idea of the height.

Here he is next to some other pieces...almost the exact overall height of Bullseye.

Thanks for the pic Bmutha that really helps judge size. In the end I have always been a fan of the BIB statue, and I am really thinking about getting it. Now I may still track down the classic Com as I am sure I could easily justify having both to myself. After all they are both iconic versions of my favorite character of all time:lecture.

Great Picture of your collection Bmutha but I'm moving home at the end of the month so I wont be able to chase down the BIB Spidey just yet. I wasn't supposed to be moving until Nov & also it's a big move so I'm going to have to get a new job. I did a little map to give you you an idea :lol

Pfffttttt...that's barely farther than the distance I drove to drop off my Thor for customization a couple weekends ago (Edmonton to Calgary, roughly 300 km each way)...

Just kidding...that's a big move...a little far to commute, I suppose :). Good luck on the job hunt, and hopefully the move goes well...it's always so stressfull. Don't let the movers take your statues, you better pack those up and drive them yourself :lecture
