Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

@ Bmutha

We're going to be staying at my in-laws until we find a new place so my statues are going to be boxed up at my parents for now but yeah I'm definitely going to be delivering them when we find somewhere.

@ King

Thanks, I'm a bit nervous about the move as its so sudden but long term it should be great :duff

This a picture of my wife & little boy on a beach 10mins away

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

Yeah I'm sure you will Spidey. I was planning on getting it with in the next 2 months but that plans gone out the window now. Hopefully one day though

Yeah the little guy does look like my wife, luckily for him :lol

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

That BIB is such a great piece. It fits so well w the comiquettes.

The only thing that would stop me from picking up the BIB FIRST would be to save the money up for the Com. Though I may just wait to see what classic Spiderman statues SSC puts out over the next few years, and when in doubt get the Com down the road. As Kinger says ... Maybe get the Com just when I am calling it a "Hobby" and getting out.

****! Apparently the magnet didn't hold or something the other day and the hand fell out of the socket and broke off the fingers. FML Sideshow doesn't ever have any spare parts do they? ****ING ****

****ty..... However, you could try SSC.... IF THEY HAVE SPARE PARTS LEFT YOU MIGHT GET LUCKY... Also, how bad are the brakes ... Can you repair them???

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

damn, how that happen? I pushed mine down and it doesn't slide out of the socket. His hand is at a slightly raised elevation, so even if my magnet died out, it wouldn't fall off. It might leave a gap between the connection but not fall off.

Maybe the whole piece was leaning forward a bit:dunno. However, magnets can lose their strength over time:lecture

It was leaning forward a bit. It was my fault really. I was leaning it to dust around and it slipped off. I think I might be able to fix it for the most part. I have the two fingers that broke off but their is a sort of flat chip out of the hand that I can't find. I think I can mold something together though and make it look pretty good. I will have to check with SS but I highly highly doubt they would have any spare parts.

It sucks to hear man. I am glad that you think you might be able to make some repairs though.

Life moves on though. I was actually going to sell him since he is the EX version and I could use the money, but well this kind of changed things :lol

That sucks. The magnet on my spidey comms hand is really weak, it barely feels like its holding it.
