Guys, need your help. What you think about pay $975 for this statue. Is a good price for it????. I'm trying to find one for $800.

I would say a good deal for a Reg should be low 8 to high 8, and a good deal for an EX should be high 8 to low 9. This includes paypal and shipping.

This is strictly from my experience, so the current market could be different, especially with a new version of Spidey. Also depends on how patient you are. They don't come up often, much less for less than 1k. In fact, the only good deals I see are from this forum. You can forget eBay.

wow thats a heartbreaker Spidey. . Personally not a fan of the new comiquette, probably has something to do with the head - just looks weird IMO)

I feel the same, regardless of the 1/5 scale i'm just not feeling the sculpt design...the other 2 female characters in the collection are awesome but cant see past my Spidey Comiquette as being the Spiderman collectible released to date...imo

I think the new 1/5 spidey is nice but it really doesn't compare to the original 1/4 scale.

Hope something does compete. We need another statue like the Spidey com (different pose of course) to drive the strong desire for this piece down a bit. Especially the price.

Cant see another Comic Spidey for a while (especially in 1/4 scale) you maybe seeing a new Spiderman PF at next years Comic Con but this would be based on the new Spiderman 2 movie. Only hope i can see for a new comic Spidey is in the LSF line!

I don't think it's price will ever get affected if a new Spidey came along no matter how cool it is but I'm always up for more Spiderman statues. The only character I would buy more than once & in different scales.

I think the paint looks better on both the new Spidey/Cap's than on the Grails, but I think that this is an area where they have probably come a long way since the originals. Now, can they pull it off in production???

Do you really think so? I was under the impression that Sideshow's paint apps were getting worse of late. I'm thinking the opposite and that Sideshows paint apps have become much weaker since the original grails

As cool as the J Scott Com looks I just don't love it, and like you guys it is the head sculpt. I can live with the head in view, even the 3/4, but the side views kill it for me. Maybe the Ex will save it, but as of right now... The classic Com is what I am looking for now.

Yeah, glad I have eliminated the old com from my want list. The head is a bit off but not something that is a deal breaker. I can mostly round out my collection with what money I have left over.
