This comiquette looks great with iron spidey together. My EX waitlist converted also, must have had a lot left because I waitlisted this piece late due to the holidays and how expensive this piece is. I alerted Jeff at sideshow about the error in the email and he said he meant the spiderman comiquette and not carnage ex, although carnage was still on sale.

I saw the Spidey today and all I can say is.......WOW!!!!!!

It's gorgeous and big...2 thumbs up all the way on this one.

I think a great green goblin CC and Doc Oc CC to match Spidey would give Venom and Carn a run for their money!

Thats if they make anymore 1/4 villians.Hob Gob is 1/5 at $300?Hope they do make more 1/4 comiquettes to go with this trio but time and price will tell?

The lower ES is meaningless if the exclusive accessory is a mediocre print. I know of a couple of collectors (myself included) who bypassed the EX because of cali sales tax ($284 + $28(sales tax) + shipping vs $250 shipped from a retailer). $30 more of a lame print, that's an easy pass

I only buy exclusive if it is a must, won't pay for the print for $50-75 extra. I got the Thanos EX because of the MD switch head. So it is a must for EX, i don't mine paying extra for it. The only prints that i like so far is the Hulk and Silver Surfer print.

Yep, can't fault others for saving big bucks that can be used towards another awesome statue rather than get a piece of paper that can be copied. You save on 3-4 prints and get a whole new statue, sounds like a good deal to me.

I usually would agree with that, but the way Sideshow's QC has been lately. . .not completely comfortable ordering one of their statues from outside retailers anymore. Too bad. I don't even have a local comic shop anymore, so I don't have an option where I can examine one before purchasing.
