They basically replicated the lotr strategy with the 1/5 line. I bet it's from the same factory, which seem to produce those 1/5 statues in incredible detail and much better paint than the regular dios coming out from ss.

did i tell you guys how happy i am those are in scale with the attakus star war statues :yess: :yess: :yess: :yess:

I keep hoping they replicate that strategy across the board with DC also and even Marvel :)

not just that.. but the high podium base from SS won't go along with the flat black ones from attakus... otherwise it would be so nice to have Bib going with the Gamo guard..

(just got a thought of molding the base from SS and sit bib on top of it...)

Though I do not like the scale, that Vader is badass. May have to get him.

Just a feeling. They've done him in 1/6, 1/4, and likely a life size and a LSF sooner or later, but I just don't see them doing a regular "as you like him" Vader in 1/5...

Just a feeling.

:lecture If they're starting a 1:5 maquette line with Obi-Wan they might as well make another Vader to go with it! :huh

They are. Lava Vader with helmet off (or maybe a switch out).

No Vader would go with this "Mythos" Obi-wan anyway... Sorry. :(

Obi Wan isn't in his classic outfit/age/pose or anything.
This line is all about the imagining of various moments we are not familiar with in the lives of these characters.

There's enough classic Vader out there that we don't need another one.

If you want a classic 1/5 Vader, spring for the first Attakus release.

The way Obi-wan hold his saber is kinda weird IMO. And the size of the saber is a bit too small too

ah c'mon man... anyway.. for someone picky like you he will have a switch out hand without lightsaber...

it is more than being picky. the saber hilt is tiny. My understanding is that SS was looking into it. It is a shame they decided to do nothing about it.

Nothing about it before they showed the same prototype as last year? Or nothing about it before it ships?

I can't see much wrong with it. Looks the same size as the other two hanging off his pack.

SS received feedback on the issue when it was first previewed. A rep indicated it was a "proto" and implied more work was to be done.

The one at SDCC shows no changes.
