Same here, for quality, but more importantly budget, taking their time would be great.

Well maybe monetarily speaking yes but I would think quality is out the door even if they do shoot for January. Whether we get them this month or January they would still have to be in transit on a boat or being boxed as we speak/type. If it is FUBAR a month won't make a difference but I am optimistic about the Stormtrooper. Besides wasn't it Irish Jedi who said the piece at San Diego was the final product on display?

It was a Production Sample and not a Prototype, yes.

And I don't think we'll see these shipping until after the New Year.

Heck, the retailers haven't even gotten theirs in yet... so we're at least 3-4 weeks away. :monkey3

You aren't gonna let that go, are ya? :D

Just saw the backstage pass video. I don't remember seeing or reading that the belt was fabric anywhere before, can't say I think it looks all that hot. I'd have much preferred one of flexible plastic to get that smooth look. (The movie ones were leather, right?)

They were cloth in ANH...just like the 1/6th figure here. I think its a great way to go. The all plastic belts of the past are inaccurate.

I am really torn. I want these very badly, but I have a BUNCH of figures due to hit in Dec. If these got moved back, I would not complain.

But I would still be anxious.

I hope the good folks at Toy Anxiety break the Stormtroopers down so I can pick up a belt or two for Luke and Han.
