Yep, if the armor sucks I can see lots of people dumping Vader too.

Glad to see the news, although I was partially hoping it would be delayed a teeny tiny bit so this and Belloq wouldn't fall in the same credit card statement!

Especially when it's only in the NL and no email notices have gone out, could even end up a little longer than 30 if there's slight delays. The only conclusive dates to expect, most of the time, are the ones indicated by the email notices.

I'll be keeping a close watch for in-hand pictures. Since SS normally ships my orders really late, mostly around 3 to 4 weeks after their US customers get the figure, I will still have enough time to cancel my pre-order if the in-hand pictures show a below-par product.

No. I expect if there's any issue with the Stormtroopers, it'll be looseness of the armor body, otherwise it should turn out top notch.

Yeah the only armor issue with Clonobi was his shin armor was a tad loose... but overall the armor was great.

I am quite happy with my Clone Obi (apart from the losse joints) so overall, I am not expecting any major issue with the Stormie. It better turn out good. I currently have no 12-inch Stormtrooper in my collection. In anticipation of the SS Stormtrooper, I sold off my Medicom Stormtrooper at a low price to my cousin.

This will be my first high-end Stormtrooper. The only 12" Stormie I've ever had was the VOTC Hasbro.

Just because the figure is not no the 30 day list does not mean that it is for sure further than 30 days out. Sideshow could send out 5-10 day processing notices tomorrow and the figure would end up on the list with fewer than 30 days to process.

On the other hand...
