This is really exciting. I originally discovered Sideshow and this website when I read about the Medicom Stormtrooper announced in fall 2005 and scheduled for release February 2006. I hadn't collected any figures before then, but I was interested in a high quality version of a Stormtrooper and Vader for display. I had just recently purchased a Medicom Vader when I came across this site and found out about Jedi Luke and Sideshow's SW line. I decided not to purchase the Medicom trooper and wait for Sideshow's version. If you had asked me how long it would take before we saw a Stromtrooper from Sideshow back in 2005, I would have easily said 2006. Honestly, this line's release schedule has not gone as I imagined it. I initially thought that characters would be released in scene related groupings, instead of a random character announced every 1-2 months. But I am happy to see a stormtrooper released after all these years of waiting.

i got my notice too, so how long after we get the notice does it take sideshow to ship these?

Hey Josh, didn't u recently sell a lot of SW figs, sorry I'm just asking I'm not meaning to offend or anything... Are you getting back into the mix? Did the excitement of the Troopers bring yah back?

I remember almost getting a Jedi Luke from you but at the time there was so many other things coming out I couldn't get up the funds.

If things go well I should have this by Thursday. Sideshow ships this out in the order they receive the order. Even though I live down the road (not literally) from SS and it's an order which I got to late or was converted from a wait list I'll get it later than those across the country.

I can picture him with the figure in one hand, laptop in his lap and dvd remote in the other hand.

Actually this figure will require more intense scrutiny than DVDs can provide. Gotta pull out the authoritative Star Wars Chronicles for a more in-depth analysis to compare with publicity and behind-the-scene photos as well. Now where's my magnifier? :D :monkey5

Woops, was wrong.

I can picture him with the figure in one hand, laptop in his lap and dvd remote in the other hand and flipping through Star Wars Chronicles with his feet.
