Woops, was wrong.

I can picture him with the figure in one hand, laptop in his lap and dvd remote in the other hand and flipping through Star Wars Chronicles with his feet.

I'm not sure how dexterous I am with my feet, so that might be a little hard to do. :chew But honestly, it looks like Sideshow knocked this one out of the park. All the photos I've seen from SDCC look spectacular and I am quite happy with how Clone Obi turned out. Hopefully our shipping notices appear in the next couple days!

They do look fantasic. I just hope the glossy shine on the armor makes it through production.

Yeah, I don't see why not. If you take a look at the Sideshow Terminator line, both the T-800 Big boy buck and the regular buck for the T-1000, have a smooth glossy sheen to them that is unlike the texture of most bucks. I'm guessing they are using a similar process to make the armor glossy.

Hey Josh, didn't u recently sell a lot of SW figs, sorry I'm just asking I'm not meaning to offend or anything... Are you getting back into the mix? Did the excitement of the Troopers bring yah back?

I remember almost getting a Jedi Luke from you but at the time there was so many other things coming out I couldn't get up the funds.

I'm am still selling a lot of them. No offense at all. My plan wasn't to totally leave but basically sell off the ones I no longer wanted in my collection. My collection from here on out and I've talked about this with friends will be just iconic items that I feel should be in my collection. Different troopers are in for sure while some won't be. The only line I will get every figure of is The Dead. The rest I'm now going to be very very picky.

Actually this figure will require more intense scrutiny than DVDs can provide. Gotta pull out the authoritative Star Wars Chronicles for a more in-depth analysis to compare with publicity and behind-the-scene photos as well. Now where's my magnifier?

Right on man, I can see how this can be very additive, in the past couple years of starting my collection I've tried to become very selective and just get the key items I really want. The hype is a powerful feeling to overcome.

It can be. This board is a great place but it can be a hazzard as well. Just stick to and remind yourself that you only "need" to have certain characters represented.

Every year there is someone pissed because its obvious that orders go out at pretty much the same time. SDCC orders are treated with no priority than any of the other orders.
