I experienced this scenario also and just made sure the cloth was away from the portrait socket.
Congrats, Viper!
I had the same problem too

good luck, I had something similar and they only offered a credit...I think they did not receive too many replacements, or they are just trying to stop switching out so many, they are getting pretty stingy lately.
Got mine today. Looks great. One problem though. Anyone else's head magnet extremely weak? My head falls off when the body is leaned or with any slight wobble. I'm scared to leave her with her head on unattended.

I was like that too up until this current babydoll situation, I have always had problems here and there, and CS has been great, but the guy I am dealing with now ignores half of my message, and just auto types it seems. Getting annoying, and I have to keep asking him to respond, last message I sent was friday, and haven't heard anything back yet. I think I will just email Daniel, he seems like one of the few to actually get things done.
Until I experience some of the problems others have had, my opinion of Sideshow's CS department won't change.
I think Sideshow's CS department is awesome.

Yes.... Ssc is still one of the best.:exactly
If you need to get replacements due to defects, call them directly. Via email takes too long.
Not always an easy thing to do from the other side of the planet, but it's starting to look like I have no choice.
I hear ya and I understand the frustration from international customers when issues like yours pop up.
I wish you the Best of Luck, bro.
Good luck getting replacements from Sideshow these days.
All I've been reading lately is that they'll offer $25-$30 credit.
Vs and snoopy, you have to mail them, the pics, duh ;p
Someone on the sf was saying its been weeks and they never got back to them.
