good luck, I had something similar and they only offered a credit...I think they did not receive too many replacements, or they are just trying to stop switching out so many, they are getting pretty stingy lately.

indeed.

I don't know if it's because people have become more unwilling to settle as prices have gone up or perhaps too many replacements growing over time.

I've always had good replacement service with SSC. This change will make ordering from them or keeping defective products rarer from me.

I was like that too up until this current babydoll situation, I have always had problems here and there, and CS has been great, but the guy I am dealing with now ignores half of my message, and just auto types it seems. Getting annoying, and I have to keep asking him to respond, last message I sent was friday, and haven't heard anything back yet. I think I will just email Daniel, he seems like one of the few to actually get things done.

Got mine today. Looks great. One problem though. Anyone else's head magnet extremely weak? My head falls off when the body is leaned or with any slight wobble. I'm scared to leave her with her head on unattended.

I experienced this scenario also and just made sure the cloth was away from the portrait socket.

Congrats, Viper! :hi5:

Yeah, when the shirt gets inside, it makes for a very weak attraction for the magnets. Mine was the same way.

I sent in pics. Now they want 5-7 days to review them :/

Until I experience some of the problems others have had, my opinion of Sideshow's CS department won't change.

I think Sideshow's CS department is awesome. :lecture

To each his own, but I completely disagree.

A company should be judged by how they treat every customer with a legitimate concern, and in my opinion SS is failing miserably these days. I miss the company that blew me away 9 years ago.

That's what I thought as well. Nope not the same anymore. That's scaring me a bit in this hobbie. I'm very worried about getting flawed statues.

I do agree daniel is a ok guy in my book. :hi5:

egg on my face, I noticed my emails to Sideshow have not been sent from my yahoo outbox, not sure what is going on, but just tried another account so hopefully it gets resolved soon. still has taken over 17 days, mainly because of skipping parts of my messages.

Good luck getting replacements from Sideshow these days.
All I've been reading lately is that they'll offer $25-$30 credit.

Don't bet on it. I'm at two weeks waiting for Daniels response after supplying further photos he asked for.

Yes.... Ssc is still one of the best.:exactly

If you need to get replacements due to defects, call them directly. Via email takes too long.

Not always an easy thing to do from the other side of the planet, but it's starting to look like I have no choice.

I submitted a request for Elvira and even though it took about 12 days for a response and shipping notice, they got it done.

Obviously they are having reasons to not replace for some people. If I had a problem with babydoll and they decided not to body swap, I would have returned her and bought the regular from my lcs. A perfect regular babydoll is better than none.

Vs and snoopy, you have to mail them, the pics, duh ;p

Someone on the sf was saying its been weeks and they never got back to them.
