So I received my damaged Babydoll way back on the 13th March. Today, 29 days later, I have finally received replacement parts for the broken sword arm and base and they are in perfect condition.
Wow. Just short of a full month to fix a broken when shipped (the broken of parts were missing from the box indicating they were broken before being packed for shipping) $350 item. With all the other stories of people being told "tough luck" for their problem statues, it's been a pretty stressful month waiting through weeks of silence from SS. That's pretty appalling service. While I got a good result in the end, I know many haven't. And while I am grateful for SS customer service rectifying this situation and always being courteous and friendly, the extremely long delays in responding to these matters is simply unacceptable. Even a simple email to acknowledge they had received your issue and pictures to let you know something is happening would have gone a long way. I like sideshows product too much to quit over this, but I am really praying I never again get a damaged statue as this was a terrible experience.
Tomorrow I'll be putting her together and forgetting this experience and enjoying this glorious premium format.
