This looks ****ing amazing. Would love a Keaton and Jack. After seeing pics of Ivy and hoping mine looks like that Wednesday, I will po this asap.

This piece is awesome. Besides the head and hands, is the entire sculpt under fabric? It looks as though its going to be, and although that's cool, it's got nothing on retro Supes. I love the balance between sculpt and fabric on the up coming retro Supes PF, and I agree, a sculpted cape for this Man of Steel PF would accent the fabric perfectly.

The movie will definitely sell this piece...no doubt Especially if it's killer, which I'm positive it'll be, because I just can't see this flick being bad at all. Every preview of it is amazing.

If this movie does turns out to be great, I might very well pick this up, and then pray SS makes a Bale Dark Knight PF to sit along side it.

A fully sculpted cape on this one might be boss.... But then again we haven't seen the preview ... The fabric may kick ***

One thing I've noticed in all the clips for the movie is that the cape, while entirely CG, has a very specific, almost plush, texture to it- similar to crushed velvet. Also the way it billows implies it's relatively light. All this contrasts with the harder, rigid suits with their more mechanical, repeating texture.

Not saying it would be impossible to do it sculpted, but I can see some kind of material fabric mimicking the contrast between the two surfaces a lot more intensely than trying to get the same contrast all in polystone. But I do realize there are talented guys out there who could probably rise to the challange- if the art director bothers to make this a point. An yeah, I'm surprised that they are going with fabric on the main body of the suit. Looks spot on and in scale though.

I'm not usually a fan of fabric/mixed media on 1/4 scale or smaller- but in this case I think it will be the right way to go.

Agreed ... I will be watching for the preview of this one
