Thanks very much MM you're a champion but I'm on a strict budget at the moment. My days of freely spending are over for the moment :wink1: :(

I finally bought the New TMNT blu ray I've been waiting for forever to watch a new tmnt movie (and yes I didn't go the cinema). I'm not sure what to write about it though. I feel like I need hours to fully get my thoughts out :lol

Hi guys i have a question i would like to put out there, as i am in two minds about this.

Today i picked up a Michelangelo (original red headband) comiquette from Sideshow. The thing about this one is its numbered 0 of 650, what does this mean?

Also i was thinking of painting the headband orange to match my Raph and Donnie (purple headband). I'm after some opinions as to the pros and con of doing so.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Would not go near it with a paint brush :) Just my opinion of course.

I believe my bro's a right. I do remember a long time ago seeing an SS TMNT AP and it was numbered 0 with no other marking to denote otherwise (go figure) :dunno

I have attached some pics of it for you guys.

Artist Proof. Kind of like a sample if I'm not mistaken. Or, I think sometimes companies make APs and give them out to special people without affecting the numbered edition sizes.

Would being a AP make it cooler then a numbered edition or not as cool? :)
Lol yes. There are very few APs made compared to the Reg or Ex editions. Sometimes a handful sometimes like 20 or 30.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll take your advise and not touch it with a paint brush.

I have included a picture of my Raph I wanted to know if you guys know why mine Is different to the others I've seen. The other Raph I have seen he is holding the Shi from the tip.

Was there 2 different version of the Raph made?

Yep, man it's nice to see pics of these statues again. They are just the best, I know I'm biased but they damn well are :lol Shading, detail on the bases everything. Makes me wanna get them out of their boxes again but I got no display area yet :(

Keep em safe, Ondi. My gf's cat broke one of mine a few years back. Luckily replaced it before these skyrocketed in price.

Cat would have been on the street if it was mine

You would have seen my front door open and a cat flying through the air, followed by cat toys and litter trays right behind it, followed by loud slammed door :wink1:

I may have contacted the local Rottweiler also :lecture

This is my Donnie, I got it for a bargain because the previous owner had painted the headband purple.

Do you guys know of a way I can remove this paint without damaging the under red paint?

I think it's purple for good now, dude. I wouldn't mess with it, though I'm sure you could find an able painter to help.

Cat has been on my **** list ever since, but we replaced the statue and it's now behind glass doors (the statue, not the cat...).
