Nope... Once you get the email of your NRD confirmation notice then your credit card is charged. Usually you have a 24 hour window (after you place your order) to cancel before they charge you.

I want this, but since they gave a 'less than..' warning, they must know what's the ES, so even if I miss it, will not order on principal till they post the ES.
Enough with this crap, SS!!! We want to know what is offered BEFORE we commit to pay! Would you go and say, commit to buy a car for the full price, put the NRD on it, all this before they reveal the included options???

I think they had an ES in mind however that increased by 50 because they saw the demand grow when they said that only 10 were remaining. Instead of increasing the ES after-the-fact, they are adjusting before making a final decision.

This is a piece that I won't buy unless it has an extremely limited ES because there are other pieces I like better than this one. ES isn't always important to me but in this case it is.

It's a crappy ex anyway in my opinion (I don't need an arm sticking out of a bowl of custard, thanks), so I'll wait to see what it looks like in hand, and happily grab a regular if it turns out well.

I think it is very possible that they have a tentative number set in the system beforehand even though it shows up as TBD on the site simply because it is still subject to change.

In any case, I've decided to pass on this one after all because I have far too many pieces coming in this year. Since I don't love it enough to ignore the ES, it isn't worth adding to my collection.

Apparently the EX has been set but the person who is suppose to update it hasn't posted on the website. We will get the ES next week.

I'm shocked the ES is only 500. I hope the regular version isn't much more than 1,000. It seemed to be SS's new trend to make 3,000 ex and 5,000 regular. Not sure what a better ex would be but I don't think the thumb is crappy. .
