Well the print is just a print lol. Not the end of the world. I've cancelled stuff with zero regret. I only get stuff I'm gonna admire and keep at the same time. Not really into flipping so it's all good

I would have just stuck out out to make a few extra dollars to pay for one of those type of prints you were after, but I am sure you made someone very happy to get this at cost instead of double the price.
I actually can't stand resellers. The only reason I sell anything is because I don't want it anymore or I received something I already had as a gift. Most I've ever sold something above retail was maybe like $50 because that price was offered to me.
Lego resellers are by far the worst in my experience

Yeah it's quite sad really. If I want something and miss out on it. Hell if I'm paying more for it from a reseller at stupid prices. I would rather take that money and purchase something else. The only times I would pay for something more than retail would be a piece that is super rare and at the same time something I would want to keep

I just stated my point because he had a pre-order in which it cost him $37.50. Instead of throwing money away keep the print and resell it, but hey if you have the money to just toss away for nothing I guess it is no problem. Stack up those NRD's and cancel away lol.
Why pre-order something if you don't really want it? It was only a month ago we ordered these after all. Especially in that this is something that sold out completely in less then 30 minutes. I am sure many wanted it, but lost out the chance because it was picked up so quickly.
Exactly. For me it's the comic Con stuff. Lego sells it for$40 and resellers mark them up to $100-$200. Some minifigures sold for around $1500 and they were giveaways!!! Thank goodness I didn't pay those prices!!
With the SS items I'm buying I really want the ex versions of them, but I'm not paying so much aftermarket inflation that I could have bought something else... A new power tool, camera lens, etc

Then... You have the same statue you'd have gotten if they hadn't added it in the first place.

The short sighted people who keep calling for light up feature will be very upset when the lights go out and they can't fix it without damaging the statue.

I loved seeing all of the "I won't get this statue unless it lights up" comments.
Haha made no sense. Anytime you buy an old statue with lights they never work so it just costs you money when you inevitably sell it for something else.
