Premium Format Sideshow Thanos on Throne

I must be incredibly lucky or not quite as discerning as some. Out of the 24 Sideshow pieces I have purchased only two had issues worth contacting them. On both occasions I found Sideshow to be fair and accommodating. Of course now that I have posted this my next half dozen purchases will arrive looking like jigsaw puzzles.

15 out of 16 is just nuts. To be completely honest. Sideshow reputation for shoddy QC is no joke. But not every piece they do arrives with flaws. I’ve had only two problems with pieces from Sideshow. So I can’t really knock them down. I think I mainly knock them for quality than breakage! Plus shipping is crazy for us international collectors other than that I would purchase more if it wasn’t for these points.

Not that I have a ton of pieces, but Every SSC piece I've ever bought has had something with it. Most of the time it's not worth fighting.
I have never had any issues with xm

Well I’ve personally have 8 on hand from sideshow and 3 of them had issues... my hulk/wolv dio wolverine doesn’t fit flush at all, my hulk AA came with his left foot peeling which I returned last week and thanks came with a defective glove and left leg gap. Customer service has taken care of the issues even though they do offer ridiculous solutions ( keep a broken Thanos and well give you 120 bucks). I guess at this rate it’s not looking good for me lol. In case anyone’s curious the 5 that came in that were good were Thor, Capt, iron man, voltron and Spider-Man.

I have seen XM pieces snapped in two. It is far more rare, but it does happen

With my own personal experience I believe you bro. A 1200 dollar statue shouldn’t have any issues at all. I understand one or two possible hiccups but for as many as we’ve seen on this thread come messed up is unacceptable.

This is my first high-end statue and I am completely blown away by the design and presence of this thing. There are a few very minor issues I noticed on my piece, but I can't really spot them unless I am really looking for them. Now I just need to find a good place to display this.

So I don’t think it’s as one sided as people make it out to be

I’m sorry but if you receive broken merchandise more than twice I’m starting to think the problem doesn’t lie with the manufacturer..

So when batteries aren’t taped down and they bounce around in the box and chip away at the statue is that manufacturer or usps/fedex fault?
