What is so depressing is the 1/6 market has really turn the corner these last 2-3 years. Even knockoffs and mass produced figures from the likes of Dam Toys can produce really top notched heads and clothing. The jacket from the last few pictures look at least quite decent with futuzing and thankfully workable. But an oversized collar shirt should really not be happening in this day and age.

Hopefully, the Blondie will be a winner.

At least Blondie has the poncho to cover the collar if it's oversized.

It’s definitely an oversized collar and can be easily replaced through the aftermarket. The coat is nice albeit the outer material being very rigid. On the flip side, SSC did add a nice touch with the coat lining.

I wouldn't be too impressed with the lining. It's a nice touch for sure, but it's their standard jacket/coat lining these days. They started using it with the comic Joker 2.0 and I've seen the same on a few other figures since.

Guess I am in the minority here , I think the figure is decent overall . As far as the paint if the Dark Toys Rick Deckard is any indication in 8 months give or take there will be a recast of the head sculpt with better paint apps....
I will be keeping my eye out.

Agreed, SS really do need to up their game, when 3rd party companies and even knock-offs are hitting it out the park and your producing sloppy work like this its time to wake up and smell the coffee.
SS already have a bad reputation for proto - finished product and this fig will not help enhance that image.
That paint work should never of been ok'd. Looks like paint apps from 15-20 years ago!
The only thing this fig has over the Redman knock-off is that this is an official fig
I fear for the rest of the SS Clint 1/6 line now.

It's possible, but Sideshow headsculpts don't tend to get recasted the way other brands do. Maybe I'm wrong, but I've only ever seen TOD Indy and unhelmeted Darth Vader headsculpts floating around. And the Indy head was shrunked down with the hat made of brittle plastic.

To be honest, I’m pretty bummed out. As a hardcore Eastwood fan who owns almost every Eastwood figure, I think I’m going to pass on Harry. The video of the prototype
was well I guess A prototype and I think the clothing were much more tailored. The prototype head had more of the “ I know what you are thinking look “not sure if is now missing … the shirt, tie and coat were for sure I think better. Head now has more of a gaunt look as if Eastwood has lost a lot of weight. SS should have also went with the entire head sculpt and not just the head on a neck peg. I did notice even with The prototype, the head sculpt translation from head to neck already did not match too well..

It really doesn't bode well for subsequent figures. In some shots it looks decent. In others not so much. At its best it still looks like a caricature of Clint. It did from the get go. The other two did not. That's probably why they do not have hatless sculpts.

Appreciate the pics folks!

Even with it's limitations (a man's got to know them), I'd have got this if the price was more reflective of the quality.

This works out at $390 CAD + $40 CAD shipping + import duties/taxes & courier fees (which will probably roll in at around another $60 CAD).

Total of $490 CAD for THIS . . . I do NOT think so! I'd have bit at a total of $290-$350 CAD but this is SO not worth $490.

seems more like he's pointing it out. But he's not wrong, the recasters are becoming way more fierce nowadays

I’m not getting this so it doesn’t really matter. I don’t think it looks bad at all but that black line underneath his eye? What the hell is up with that? If they are going to have it it should trace his lower lid not just a horizontal line under his eye

Here are some more pictures of Harry’s prototype. The hair was always pretty huge even then but the head definitely changed from prototype to production. Eastwood’s face was not as gaunt looking and had more facial fat. I think somehow the head has shrunk a bit during production width wise. At Prototype the head was actually pretty on point! The clothing looked as good as the $1,000 customs. Why SS ?

Yeah good points ymba. Unfortunately SS has become the byword for being let down in this hobby, largely down to their dreadful production paint. Almost never does a production piece look anywhere near as good as the proto, I expect some degrade of course but its just way too inferior to what we've all been promised in the proto. The tailoring also looks way inferior to the proto.
I also felt a head and neck together was the better way to go with this piece.

Its no wonder we have seen no video from SS of this figure on their YouTube page.
