Probably because they knew they couldn’t get close to Hot Toys paint apps. Smart.

I really wish the film/character was important enough (to me) to make me want to buy this, because if the in-hand copies turn up looking like that, it's a phenominal piece of work (design/sculpt/costuming . . . EVERYTHING).

Agreed! They need to make another Blondie under A Fistful of Dollars/A Few Dollars More with the same care and attention to detail as Preacher. And get Yixie/Nancy to do the sculpt

A similar looking horse would also work for his High Plains Drifter "stranger,
arguably the spiritual predecessor to Pale Rider, or better the other side of the same coin.

Glad this one turned out from Sideshow. I will happily add the Preacher to my Eastwood collection. One step closer to having most of his iconic roles covered now. Hopefully they make the Bounty Hunter look from the beginning of GBU and make a better looking sculpt. I really liked this outfit.

I usually think figures look pretty silly when riding these 1/6 horses, but that's one of the nicer ones I've seen and would probably be a cool display piece standing alongside the Preacher.
