Sideshow The Dude 1/6 Scale Figure - The Big Lebowski

This may very well be my first Sideshow figure with a human head sculpt. Doesn’t look perfect and I have some nitpicks, but I think it’s pretty good overall. If only we could get Walter too.

One thing regarding the accessories- I’m not sure why they feel the need to include four different White Russian glasses.

I want a Lebowski, but I don't think this will be the one for me. I'll decide upon seeing the production piece in someone's hand. Other than the sweater, there's nothing I like about the rest of the outfit.

I do love the joint hand though.

Strange choice to have 4 different glasses for his signature drink.

I just think aside from a custom this will probably be it for the character. Fun film and I want The Dude represented in my collection.

Shame the production quality is gonna drop hard like all their other figures. Say goodbye to that sculpt and nicely tailored clothing.

You say that but Evil dead figure was insanely amazing!
So this could be a rare occasion it might turn out good either way for the price I'm happy.

There are plenty of cheap tailors who can do the PJ pants if patterns supplied so that's an option, would of been nice if the exclusive was an extra bit of clothing.

I’m guessing the pants Sideshow went with were an easier option. Since they’re a solid color with no pattern.

Really would like some variety but this figure is pre-ordered now.

The last one on the list with the purple pants and shirt is my favorite. I like purple. Second favorite would have to be the first one from the start of the film. That's how I remember the Dude. Also, it reminds me of.......me.

As previously stated I’m fairly negative about this one, at this point this is not a 250 figure full stop.
It makes more sense to pay double for a custom.

This looks really nice for a Sideshow figure. Is this their first figure since X-Wing Luke that's based on an actual person? Leaps and bounds better than that figure if it is.

I will be ordering the exclusive at some point soon. I love that Sideshow is making this figure and I think it looks pretty darn good. $250 is a lot, but it’s a one-off figure that will easily go for more than this in the secondary market once it’s sold out. I hope it sells well and shows there is a market for something other than just Star Wars and Marvel.

Sure this has already been said but I see a lot of Kurt Russell in this sculpt. Otherwise looks pretty good.

Snake Plissken was another casualty. God, I hate to think what SSC will do to Clint Eastwood. They deserved so much better. Meanwhile I have to watch HT crank out perfect meaningless bull**** charcters from Marvel and SW that no one will give a **** about a year from now.

It's not bad, I kinda like it. Don't collect that many 1/6 figs these days, but this one kinda gets me thinking where I'd put him. $250 for a non-Hoy Toys figure kinda has me pumpin' the breaks a bit though. That, and you never really know what you're gonna get when it comes to SS production versions.

Same. Instead I listened to people like that idiot and waited. Now I don’t have a cool fig and it sells for a mint.

I’m more than happy with my SS Ash/Jack Burton. Snake Plisken was a bit of a let down but that was ages ago. I don’t get why the HT cultists can’t acknowledge fun pieces other companies put out that HT would never think of touching.

I'm not going to say this is a great prototype and also the price is a ripoff, but if you asked me what 1/6 figure i would like to see made over the last 15 years, this would be my #1 so I'll be ordering 2 because i think someone will make the other outfits down the line. Its a must have for me.

I'm not hopeful sideshow will make any other figures from this movie.
